Todos los días Cacahuate va a un proyecto de construcción en su barrio después de
almorzar. Recoge las botellas de plástico y las latas de aluminio que las personas que comen
allí tiran a la calle. Las separa en cajas de cartón. A veces camina al río y recoge periódicos,
latas, botellas de vidrio y botellas de plástico para separarlas y reciclarlas también. Los lleva al
centro de reciclaje de su comunidad. Es un voluntario para Ecovidrio de España. Apaga las
luces en su casa cuando puede.
Pero a él le gusta mucho manejar su coche usado. Los domingos maneja al hospital para
llevar bolsas de juguetes a los niños enfermos. Todos los lunes maneja a su trabajo voluntario:
les lee libros a los ancianos en el parque. Ellos dicen que Cacahuate es inolvidable. Los
miércoles durante el almuerzo, Cacahuate maneja por las calles y le da comida y ropa a la gente
pobre. Luego, maneja rápidamente a un restaurante y compra una hamburguesa porque no tiene
mucho tiempo para comer.
El año pasado antes de la Navidad, Cacahuate manejó a la escuela primaria en su barrio

demasiadas personas manejaban coches. Cacahuate estaba muy triste.
