Complete local chapter by-laws

Recruit new members
Pay state and national dues of $7 per student (at least 3 students)
Pay charter fee of $20
Submit application, membership list, local chapter bylaws, and payment
Obtain an Advisor Resource CD from the state advisor, Lorraine Stephens
Chapter Management Guide (NC FBLA conferences, Event Dates, Deadlines)
Competitive Events Guidelines
State Handbook (fundraising, chapter program of work, ceremonies, etc.)
SAME as Middle School EXCEPT:

course, either semester, during the school year OR have already completed at least three business courses
• ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP– not taking a business course this
school year and have not completed at least three business courses, Cannot participate in competitive events nor serve as an officer
