FANGS IN LOVE
FANGS IN
LOVE
School, house, outside (walking), on swings in a park (holding hands), laying on the grass on a hill
LOCATION
The film opens with a close up shot, zooms out very slowly to reveal… the girl and boy sitting on swings facing each other
(laughing/talking) though little dialogue can actually be heard. This is in (Black and white). After about 5-10 seconds a narrator voice
starts speaking which is the girl in the film. {voice sounds emotional and hesitant, almost like she is speaking to a therapist.}
“This is Oscar…that one boy every girl dreams they would meet. To me, he is just perfect in every way. I liked him so much, I just
didn’t know how to tell him. My life felt worthless without him but I could not bear to live with such a large secret buried within me.”
Opening continues to show shots of them being happy and in love together. Titles are incorporated.
PLOT OF OPENING
When she turns to the age of 18 (in two weeks) she will become a full vampire. She will grow fangs, become sensitive
to sunlight and only feed on human and animal blood.
Her fangs start to grow through as she is looking in the mirror in school toilets (looks in the mirror, is shocked/scared…has no one to go to for help). After this is when she realises she cant carry on without Oscar knowing what she is going to turn into
because it could tear their relationship apart. So soon after she explains everything to him.
At the end of the film, she turns Oscar into a vampire too and they live happily ever after consuming animal and human
blood. (but this is not known in the opening)

INSTITUTION
I would use Warner Bros. to produce my film because they have previously produced romance films and fantasy films. They are a part of the big 6, therefore very well known and large, wealthy company.
I would use Summit Entertainment to distribute my film because they were the distribution company for the Twilight Saga which has been very successful and like my film, is also a romantic fantasy.
