Tarrant County College Mastery of Teaching Institute Theresa MouchaylehKelly TribbleColin JenneyHolly Stovall
Designed as a Faculty Learning Community, the Institute is geared toward faculty who wish to research, implement and analyze results of anew pedagogical skill in their classroom or other student successtopic. As educators, we know thatlearning communities are especially effective for our students; therefore, it makes sense that faculty can alsobenefit from the environment provided by a learning community devoted to pedagogical studies. Thus, the goal of the Mastery ofTeaching Institute is for faculty participants to enhance pedagogical content knowledge and a deeper understanding of the relationship between knowledge of subject, pedagogy, students and curriculum as they apply to theenhancement of student understanding and learning. Learn how to develop a faculty research program that impresses the faculty, administrators, board members and the community.http://tinyurl.com/hulsbc4
