What have you learnt about
technologies form the process of
constructing this product?
Throughout this production I have
used a wide range of media’s and
technologies form the start of pre-
production to the final product in
editing.
Blog – was a major part of my work and found it really useful as it
taught me all the different ways I could present my work but it
some times could be annoying as you couldn’t always put
everything straight onto it
Vimeo- allowed me to export videos then upload it onto vimeo the
site then embed it onto my blog, it could be annoying as
sometimes it would take forever for something's to upload.
Slideshare- with this I learnt how to put up documents and
PowerPoint's. At the at start I found this really useful as all I did
was upload the document then embed it into my blog but then it
started to delete some of my work.

YouTube- was really helpful as it allowed me to build up and show
evidence of research I did and allowed me to actually watch
opening sequences, from this I learnt how to embed YouTube clips
into my blog.
Survey Monkey- this was the best and easiest technology I used
as it allowed me to create a survey quickly then by copying the link
onto facebook it allowed people to take it. I learnt a lot as it allowed
me to see charts and graphs from the results.
Celtx- this was new to me and it allowed me to make a
professional screenplay, so I learnt that formatting for this so that
anyone could understand it. I found it easy and basic to use but it
could be annoying as you had to keep changing the format.

Camera – we used a Panasonic HC-V10 HD camera which
was really easy to use but I didn’t realise that you had to set
it up properly so I learnt how to do the white balance and
manual focus. There was a disadvantage to the camera as
the zoom was very sensitive and could be jumpy.
Final Cut Pro- this was anew software and it was easy to
learn how to put a film together properly with transitions and
different effects, although it was difficult in some places
when trying to cut the clips precisely.
KPM- was a really useful website which allowed us to get
copyright free music. In which I learnt how to download and
then transfer the music to Final Cut Pro by putting it in
iTunes
