EVALUATING AND ENDORSING CANDIDATES FOR NATIONAL OFFICE
Page 1
Here are some of the guidelines of the NV&GWVC in evaluating and endorsing candidates
for national and gubernatorial office. For the information and review of the voter, we have
also added some of those elected officials who have, since serving, displayed bias and flaws
in their representation of their constituents, including our nation’s veterans and their
families.
INFORMATION FOR REVIEWING THOSE ALREADY IN OFFICE:
_____________________________________________________________________________
Basically, the differences between the NEW Democrat Party and the Republican Party, is that the
Dems want BIG government, socialist programs, and entitlements, no rule of law, illegal
immigration, decreased military spending, and, generally, Republicans (except for the Rinos),
Independents, and Libertarians want to retain freedom and capitalism, less government
intervention, justice for all, a prosperous economy, increased military spending, rule of law,
border security, priorities for Veterans and all legal American citizens.
Many Democrats are proud members of the Democratic Socialists of America, the Congressional
Progressive Caucus, and the Black Caucus. The Republicans, too, have a caucus: The Freedom
Caucus which stands up for many of the issues and causes sacred to traditional Americans.
The NV&GWVC evaluates and endorses candidates for national and gubernatorial office, and
this year we concentrate on candidates seeking election or re-election during the upcoming mid-
term elections of 2018. We will begin to evaluate closely some candidates for 2020. The
NV&GWVC focuses it’s evaluation on candidates who promise to support veterans, veterans
issues, and homeland security. We encourage and support candidates who are veterans and those
who support veterans, and we research, in depth, each candidate from respective parties who are
most able to fulfill our expectations. Bearing in mind, also, those who have served, and do serve,
this great nation have taken an oath “to defend the United States of America from all enemies
foreign and domestic.” The list of names of Congressional members who are aligned to
socialism and to the Communist Party USA, therefore, would be deemed “domestic enemies”
since their chief goal is “globalism” and ours, like the majority of American citizens, is…the
United States of America.

SENATOR CORY BOOKER (D-NJ)
Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) is up for re-election in 2020, plus is nursing a presidential bid, so we
hear, along with Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA); Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), and, possibly, Joe
Biden? (D-DE), to name only a few. All of the above have received support from the
Democratic Socialists of America.
Our first evaluation of Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) reveals a stark problem: an act of sexual assault
which he has admitted to. According to a column written by Cory Booker, himself, back in 1992
in The Stanford Daily Column, Sen. Booker relates the incident as if it was immaterial to the
column, itself:
"As the ball dropped, I leaned over to hug a friend and she met me instead with an
overwhelming kiss," Booker wrote.
"As we fumbled upon the bed ... I slowly reached for her breast. After having my hand pushed
away once, I reached my 'mark.' Our groping ended soon and while no 'relationship' ensued, a
friendship did," he wrote.”
Despite whether or not Sen. Booker was relating a point, he did commit an act of sexual
misconduct, and admit to it, and how do we know if this was his only offense without looking
into an investigation? Apparently, the issue came up so very briefly as to be unnoticed for Sen.
Booker’s last election. The point here is, the Democrat senator is now serving on the Senate
Judiciary Committee currently holding a hearing for Supreme Court Nominee and Republican,
Judge Brett Kavanaugh, for alleged sexual assault of a woman 36 years ago. Sen. Booker
unfairly has condemned Judge Kavanaugh as“guilty,” even referring to him as “evil,” despite the
burden of proof, thus far, being absent. This will serve to exemplify the point that this Democrat
Senator, among several on the committee, does not regard rule of law or fairness. When it
comes time to evaluate Sen. Booker further for his upcoming re-election or possible presidential
bid, we have offered voters already one piece of evidence to prove the biased case of Sen.
Booker with regard to casting judgment upon a Republican conservative accused of sexual
misconduct when, in fact, Senator Booker, himself, admitted to an act of sexual misconduct,
even writing about it and has not been held up for scrutiny or even an FBI investigation. Where
is fairness?

SENATOR RICHARD BLUMENTHAL (D-CT)
The senator from Connecticut has a bad habit of condemning and rushing to judgment on others
who are not of the Democrat persuasion. He appears to be one of the first to seek judgment on
others and yet Sen. Blumenthal is a confirmed “liar” who has lied boldly to the American people
and to those serving us in government. He has denigrated military service by being allowed to
serve on the Veterans Affairs Committee even as his “stolen valor” has been revealed publicly.
Where is justice? Why is Senator Blumenthal allowed to remain a “judge” on veterans issues
when, obviously, he has made himself out to be one who served with honor and dignity—in
Vietnam. This is a “lie” for those veterans, and voters, who may not be aware of Sen.
Blumenthal’s blatant disregard for honesty.
We will give President Trump an “A+” here for calling out those who cast the first stones, and
for telling the American people how things really are with their candidates and elected officials.
Take a look:
“In the 2000s, when Blumenthal served as Connecticut’s attorney general, he
began to claim that he served in the Vietnam War. Blumenthal, repeatedly, has
touted his experience during the war.
“When we returned [from Vietnam], we saw nothing like this,” Blumenthal
reportedly said in 2003.

“We have learned something important since the days I served in Vietnam,” The
New York Times quoted Blumenthal as saying in 2008.
“I served during the Vietnam era,” Blumenthal reportedly said at a Vietnam War
memorial in 2008. “I remember the taunts, the insults, sometimes even the
physical abuse.”
But Blumenthal didn’t serve in Vietnam. He reportedly obtained at least five
military deferments between 1965 and 1970. He eventually served in the U.S.
Marine Corps Reserve, but did not deploy to Vietnam…-- Trump and fellow
Republicans have not let him forget his own past statements.
“You have the great Vietnam War hero—who didn’t go to Vietnam—[Sen.
Richard] Blumenthal,” Trump said at a rally Monday evening. “How about
Blumenthal? We call him ‘Da Nang Blumenthal.
In 2010, Blumenthal admitted to giving misleading statements about his service.
“On a few occasions I have misspoken about my service,” Blumenthal, as quoted
by The New York Times, said, adding that he served in the U.S. Marine Corps
Reserve. “And I regret that and I take full responsibility. But I will not allow
anyone to take a few misplaced words and impugn my record of service to our
country.”
Amid the hearing, though, Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., an Iraq and Afghanistan war
veteran, hit Blumenthal for his credibility.
“Sen. Blumenthal lied for years about serving in Vietnam, which is all you need
to know about his courage & honesty. Maybe he should reconsider before
questioning Judge Kavanaugh’s credibility,” Cotton tweeted. (@TomCottonAR)”

NV&GWVC NOTE: Said Sen. Blumenthal in 2010: “On a few occasions I have misspoken
about my service…” No, Senator Blumenthal, you downright “lied!”
SENATOR MAZIE HIRONO (D-HI)
This first-term Senator from Hawaii is also a member of the Progressive Caucus, confirmed by a
member of her staff. On her website there is a section wherein Sen. Hirono commemorates
WWII veterans from Hawaii. And yet, Senator Hirono is proven to have little or no regard for
men, which would include many of our nation’s veterans and military. Her comments before the
media are highly offensive and Senator Hirono should apologize to the millions of men who
have served this great nation and who still currently serve. She should apologize to those brave
men, veterans, who risked their lives defending Ambassador Chris Stevens and the CIA secret
compound in Benghazi. She should apologize to these men, first, for what has not been done to
seek justice for the deaths at Benghazi at the hands of radical Islamic terrorists or the truth
behind Benghazi and the lies of the Obama Administration in covering up that truth!
Another Democrat Senator sitting on the Veterans Affairs Committee who has little or no respect
for our male veterans and currently-serving military, obvious in the single most offensive and
sexist comment of her brief career, to date:
“Guess who is perpetrating all of these kinds of actions? It’s the men in this
country,” Hirono said. “I just want to say to the men in this country: Just shut
up and step up. Do the right thing, for a change.” – Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI)
Sen. Hirono’s statement is highly offensive to men and was intended to be so. She is obviously a
“sexist” serving in our nation’s Senate and on the Veterans Affairs Committee. She has called
the Kavanaugh hearings “unfair,” however, she is one of the many Democrat Senators sitting on
the Senate Judiciary Committee who have proclaimed Judge Brett Kavanaugh GUILTY before
any findings have concluded any determination either way. Where is the“innocent until proven
guilty” fairness in Washington? Where is the fairness? Where is justice?

We never give the right of those we elect to office to represent us with unfairness and ill
justice, nor do we condone any congressional representatives to speak out on our behalf in
condemnation of those who have not yet been given full and fair consideration under the
law. In other words, the NV&GWVC will not endorse any candidate to office, or re-elect
any candidate to office, who has mis-used with deception the system for the sake of the
party rather than representing constituents and others in a fair, just, and lawful manner
and we are urging American voters to do the same.
The Following Article is from Fellowship of the Minds dated 1 October 2018:
On Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018, only 49 House Democrats voted “Yes” on a resolution ( H. Res. 1071)
expressing disapproval of non-citizen illegal aliens voting in U.S. elections, which is a criminal act. 71 Democrats outright voted “No”; 69 Democrats took the cowardly way out by answering “Present”; 4 Democrats refused to take a stance by not voting. In effect, 144 Democrats refused to agree with the
resolution that it is wrong for illegal aliens to vote in U.S. elections.
House Resolution 1071, sponsored by Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), states the following:
Recognizing that allowing illegal immigrants the right to vote devalues the franchise and diminishes the voting power of United States citizens.
Whereas voting is fundamental to a functioning democracy;
Whereas the Constitution prohibits discrimination in voting based on race, sex, poll taxes, and
age;
Whereas it is of paramount importance that the United States maintains the legitimacy of its
elections and protects them from interference, including interference from foreign threats and
illegal voting;
Whereas the city of San Francisco, California, is allowing non-citizens, including illegal
immigrants, to register to vote in school board elections; and
Whereas Federal law prohibits non-citizens from voting in elections for Federal office: Now,
therefore, be it
Resolved, That the House of Representatives recognizes that allowing illegal immigrants the
right to vote devalues the franchise and diminishes the voting power of United States citizens.

In short, the above-referenced 71 Democrats, plus 1 Republican, voted down House Resolution
(H. Res.)1071 that it is wrong to allow illegal immigrants to vote in United States elections.
Since illegal immigrants voting in United States elections is “a criminal act,” (and many already
have but have not been brought to justice), voters should be able to rationalize that a majority of
the NEW Democrat Party has now become a haven of lawlessness, and that the priorities of the
American people/citizens are not being represented by the above Democrats and 1 Republican

they elected to office. No illegal immigrant coming to this country should have any rights or
benefits received by naturalized and American citizens. It is not fair, nor is it just. In allowing
illegal immigrants the right to vote in our country, it would mean that hundreds upon hundreds of
citizens of other countries would have a say in what goes on here! This is, in pure fact, part and
parcel of the left’s hunger for GLOBALISM. VOTE OUT THIS SCOURGE! If any of the
above-referenced Reps. are up for re-election in your community in the mid-terms on 6
November 2018, we suggest you strongly consider to VOTE THEM OUT or else suffer the
consequences of surrendering your rights as an American citizen- and ours!
We must have a bi-partisan, truthful, and fair government who also believes in laws and justice.
The only way we can achieve it is through voting for those candidates who stand for bi-
partisanship, truth, and fairness, the rule of law, and justice.
When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers. ~ Proverbs 21:15
Do not follow the majority when they do wrong or when they give testimony that perverts
justice.
