PATNA, Mar 8:

Bihar Chief Minister NitishKumar today blamed BJP forthe release of jailed separatistleader Masrat Alam in Jammuand Kashmir and said that thesaffron party was “responsi-ble” for whatever was happen-ing there.

“The BJP is responsible forwhatever is happening in Jammuand Kashmir today. We have

been continuously saying thatthe alliance of BJP-PDP to forma Government there is the philo-sophical demise of ShyamaPrasad Mukherjee, the founderof Bharatiya Jansangh,” Kumarsaid.

“BJP cannot absolve itselffrom the things that are happen-ing there, as it is theirGovernment in alliance withPDP. It will have to answer the

issues that have cropped upthere and are rocking the entirecountry,” Kumar added.

The Bihar Chief Ministerwas talking to mediapersons onthe sidelines of a function organ-ised in the State capital on theoccasion of InternationalWomen’s Day.

Kumar pointed out that

Mukherjee had advocated “oneflag, one constitution” for theentire country.

“But the leaders of BJPhave killed his philosophy andthoughts this time in Jammuand Kashmir by forming analliance with PDP for power,”he said.(PTI)
