DAY 1: DEPART FOR DELHI

DAY 2: DELHI Arrive into Delhi in the morning...!Welcome at the airport by our representative. Then, transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon visit Old Delhi - the capital of Mughals between the 16th and the 19th centuries. Here there are many mosques, monuments and forts, with the most notable being the famous Red Fort and the Jama Masjid. The medieval atmosphere of the bazaars of Old Delhi contrasts sharply with the open, spacious streets of New Delhi, the imperial city created by the British. Overnight

DAY 3: DELHIToday visit the Lutyens designed Delhi comprising of India Gate, Parliament House and the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the official residence of the President of India, Qutab Minar- the 'Tower of Victory' erected by Qutabuddin Aibak in 1193 and Humayun's Tomb, built by the wife of the second Mughal emperor. Overnight

DAY 4: DELHI / GWALIOR (TRAIN) Early morning departure by an express train for Gwalior - the pearl of Hindustan. Arrive in Gwalior and visit the imposing and magnificent Gwalior Fort, Man Mandir a six-towered palace and the Jai Vilas Palace. This palace is famous for its ornate chandeliers & crystals. Later, visit the Gujari Mahal, the Tomb of Muhammad Ghaus followed by a visit to the Tomb of the famous musician TANSEN. Overnight.

DAY 5: GWALIOR / AGRA In the morning proceed by road towards Agra, the old imperial capital of India. Upon reaching in the afternoon, visit the historical Agra Fort, which housed three Mughal

Emperors. Each one left their print on the architecture - red sandstone of Akbar and Jahangir and white marble of Shah Jahan. Overnight

DAY 6: AGRA Proceed for an early morning visit to the world famous Taj Mahal, whose eternal beauty will astonish and mesmerize its visitors. Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan built Taj Mahal in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, who died in 1631. Thereafter, visit the beautiful mausoleum of the tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah, the first monument in India to feature "Pietra Dura". It is often referred to as the "mini-Taj". Overnight

DAY 7: AGRA / FATEHPUR SIKRI / JAIPURBegin your journey to the princely state of Rajasthan. Enroute, visit Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned city built by Akbar which was the Mughal capital for 14 years. Then, proceed for the ornithological reserve of Keoladeo Ghana, a bird sanctuary which is a paradise of the ornithologists. Visit this reserve in rickshaws or on bicycles. Thereafter, continue towards Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan also called the Pink City. In the evening enjoy a joyful rickshaw ride in this quaint city. Overnight

DAY 8: JAIPUR Begin this day with a visit to Hawa Mahal and then proceed to Amber Fort, the ancient capital of the Rajput Empire rulers. Ascend to this hilltop fort in Maharaja s t y l e … b y d e c o ra t e d elephants. Visit the beautiful complex of palaces. Then proceed for a city tour of Jaipur, visit City Palace- the Royal residence of Maharaja & the Observatory of the 18th century. Thereafter, walk in the bustling bazaars of Jaipur, well known for beautiful carpets, enameled ornaments, precious and semi-precious stones and many other arts and crafts. Overnight

DAY 9: JAIPUR / SAMODE / DELHI Enjoy a morning drive towards Sanganer, known for its blue pottery and colorful hand-made paper. Then continue towards the old caravan city of Samode locked up in its walls and dominated by its castle. Visit the palace and the beautiful Sheesh Mahal- the hall of mirrors. Thereafter, continue towards Delhi. Arrive Delhi and proceed to the hotel.

DAY 5 : AGRA / RANTHAMBOREMorning proceed for the Ranthambore enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned city built by Akbar which was the Mughal capital for 14 years. Thereafter we take train from Bharatpur station towards Ranthambore - Rajasthan's most renowned wildlife sanctuary. Set in the Aravalli and Vindhya hill, sit is a perfect natural habitat for tigers. Afternoon, we visit the jungle to discover the majestic Bengal Tiger and its other wild habitation of antelopes, spotted-deers, wild boars, monkeys, crocodile etc. Overnight Ranthambore.

DAY 6 : RANTHAMBOREDay dedicated for morning/ evening visits of the Jungle to see the wildlife and the famed Bengal Tiger. Overnight Ranthambore.

DAY 7 : RANTHAMBORE / BUNDI / KOTAAfter breakfast we depart for Kota via Bundi - the lively backwater town of 13th century dominated by a large complex of forts and palaces, hugging the steep hillside. Visit Phool Palace and the terraced gardens to see and admire the splendid murals in the Chitra Shala, depicting the Bundi style of miniature paintings. Overnight

DAY 9 : BIJAIPUR / CHITTORGARH / UDAIPURMorning leave for Chittorgarh, famous for its sprawling hilltop fort. Its sacred walls and ruined palaces relate the saga of innumerable sieges and heroism. Visit the Vijay Sthambh - the victory tower, The Rana Kumbha Palace - where princess Padmini and other royal ladies committed 'Jauhar' (mass suicide). Continue towards Udaipur also known as “City of Lakes and Palaces". Overnight Udaipur.

DAY 10 : UDAIPURSet around the vast Pichola Lake, Udaipur is Rajasthan's most picturesque city. Visit the magnificent City Palace - the ancient palaces of the Mewar Royal family, the Jagdish temple and the Sahelion -Ki-Bari. Thereafter, visit the school of famed miniatures paintings. Evening enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola and visit of Jag Mandir. Overnight.

DAY 4 : MANDAWA / JAIPUR (170 Km)In the morning, visit some more Havelis in the neighbouring villages before departing for Jaipur, the pink city. Enroute, visit the old caravan city of Samode, locked

DAY 5 : JAIPUR Begin this day with a visit to Hawa Mahal and proceed to Amber Fort, the ancient capital of the Rajput Empire rulers. Then proceed for a tour of Jaipur beginning with the City Palace - the Royal residence of Maharajah & the Observatory of the 18th century. Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri, the ancient capital of the Mughal Empire for 14 years before it was abandoned. This city built in 1569 has some splendid Palaces - with an excellent blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture. Late in the afternoon, arrive in Agra and proceed to the hotel. Overnight

DAY 7 : AGRAEarly morning, visit the world famous Taj Mahal, whose eternal beauty will astonish and mesmerize its visitors. Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan built Taj Mahal in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, who died in 1631. Afternoon, visit the Red Fort, which housed three Mughal Emperors. DAY 8 : AGRA / GWALIOR (TRAIN) / ORCHHAEarly morning depart by an express train for Gwalior- the pearl of Hindustan. Arrive in Gwalior and visit the imposing and magnificent Gwalior Fort, Man Mandir a six-towered palace and the Jai Vilas Palace. This palace is famous for its ornate chandeliers & crystals. After Lunch, leave for the medieval city of Orchha flanked by river Betwa. Orchha is known for its palaces and temples of 16th - 17th century of the Bundela's. Overnight.

DAY 9 : ORCHHA / KHAJURAHOAfter breakfast, visit the ancient Palace of Maharaja Bir Singh. Later, drive to Khajuraho, the ancient capital of the Chandela Kings, known for its magnificent carved temples. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu a n d t h e J a i n Tirthankaras, these temples were built between 950 A.D. and 1050 A.D. These temples are exquisite specimens of medieval India and are now a UNESCO world heritage site. Overnight.

Thereafter, proceed to the city and walk in its quaint and colourful markets. Late in the afternoon drive to camp located atop a sand dune in the Thar desert. Overnight at the camp.

DAY 13 : SAND DUNES / JAISALMERMorn ing depar t fo r Jaisalmer, the yellow city in the heart of the desert, surrounded by sand dunes. In the afternoon, visit the Gaddi Sagar Lake, the royal Cenotaphs at the Barj Bagh. Overnight Jaisalmer.

DAY 14 : JAISALMERMorning visit exquisitely carved balconies of the "Havellis", beautiful palaces and 'jharokhas and its colourful markets In the afternoon, proceed towards the sand dunes to see the picturesque wind-caressed dunes of the Thar Desert. Overnight Jaisalmer.

DAY 15 : JAISALMER / BIKANERAfter breakfast depart for the fortified city of Bikaner. Visit the magnificent Junagarh fort, palaces and temples. Bikaner is home of the best riding camels in the world. Walk through the undulating lanes and colourful bazaars of Bikaner. Overnight Bikaner.

DAY 16 : BIKANER / JAIPUR (290 KM)Morning, visit some more H a v e l i s i n t h e neighbouring vil lages before departing for the Jaipur, the pink city. Enroute, visit the old caravan city of Samode, locked up in its walls and dominated by its castle. Visit the Palace and the beautiful Sheesh Mahal. After lunch, continue towards Jaipur. DAY 10 : KHAJURAHO / VARANASI (FLIGHT)In the morning, visit the temples dedicated to Jainism that boast of beautiful sculptures. Thereafter, fly to Varanasi. Arrive and proceed to visit Sarnath - one of the holiest Buddhist sites. It is here Lord Buddha p reached h i s f i r s t Sermon in 550 BC. The Museum here is filled with many sculptures found at the site. In the evening visit the ghats of the Ganges to see the devout Hindus performing the "Puja" with lighted lamps. Overnight.

DAY 11 : VARANASI / KATHMANDU (FLIGHT)Early morning boat ride on the Ganges where you witness the living traditions of Hinduism, one of the world's oldest religions. Thereafter, walk through the narrow lanes and colourful bazaars of this holy city. Visit the revered Kashi Vishwa Nath Temple, Banaras Hindu University and Bharat Mata Temple. Later, depart for airport and fly to Kathmandu. Arrive in Kathmandu and proceed for a visit of the Durbar Square followed by the Palace of Kumari, the temple of the living goddess and the Kasthamandap, which gave Kathmandu its name. Overnight.

DAY 12 : KATHMANDUIn the morning visit Bhaktapur, home of medieval art and architecture. Its Durbar square contains innumerable temples and other architectural showpieces - the Lion Gate, and the palace of 55 windows. Thereafter, visit Patan - the city of artists, Buddhist monuments, Hindu temples and ancient palaces. In the afternoon visit Swaymbunath, one of the world's most glorious Buddhist Stupas. Overnight.

DAY 13 : KATHMANDUMorning excursion to a mountainous region. Arrive Changunarayan and walk through the picturesque mountains and villages to the temple. Thereafter, leave for Dhulikhel. It is famous for its scenic beauty and

panoramic view of the snowy ranges. After lunch visit Panauti an ancient Newari Village. Return to the hotel. Overnight.

DAY 14 : KATHMANDU / DELHI (FLIGHT)This morning, visit Bodhnath Stupa, one of the biggest in the world. Followed by a visit of Pashupatinath, located on the bank of Bagmati. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this temple with two-tiered golden roof has superb architecture and is Nepals' holiest place. After lunch proceed to the airport for a flight to Delhi. Overnight.

DAY 7 : MADURAI Madurai is the cultural capital of the South India. Visit The Meenakshi temple - an excellent example of Dravidian architecture, with gopurams covered from top to bottom in a profusion of multi coloured images of gods, goddesses, animals and mythical figures. Afternoon, visit the city followed by visiting the Tirumalai Nayak Palace which was built in 1636. In the evening, attend the night ceremony at the temple. Overnight.

DAY 8 : MADURAI / PERIYAR In the morning leave for Periyar National Park. Arrive and check in to the hotel. In the afternoon discover the park by boat. Animals found here include elephant, sambar, wild boars and birds like ibis and grey heron. Overnight.

DAY 9 : PERIYAR / COCHINNext morning, depart for Kottayam from where we begin the "backwater trip", which takes us through the tropical countryside and enchanting backwaters of Alleppey and palm fringed narrow canals. DAY 2 : KOLKATAEnjoy full day Sightseeing of the city. Visit - Raj Bhawan, the residence of the Governor of Bengal; Victoria Memorial, the city's landmark; Botanical Garden, notable for its oldest banyan tree and orchid house; Armenian Church; Marble Palace, one family's collection of memorabilia. DAY 3 : KOLKATA / BHUBANESWARThis morning, transfer to airport to take a flight for Bhubneshwar, the Capital of Orissa known for its splendid temples, shrines, architectural marvels, sculptures and other diverse arts and crafts. In the afternoon, visit the beautiful temples which are an architectural deligh. The most beautiful examples are the temples of Brahmeshwara, Parameshwara, and Lingaraja known for their architectural beauty and exquisite sculptures. DAY 4: BHUBANESWAR / PURI In the morning depart for the holy City of Puri. One of the

four holiest pilgrimage centres for Hindu, Puri is called the abode of Lord Vishnu on earth. Enroute visit Konark, renowned for its magnificent 13th century sun temple, where seven exquisitely carved ornamented horses, strained on twelve wheels on either side, are pulling the celestial chariot of the Sun God. The huge monolithic wheels represent time, unity, completeness, justice, perfection and movement. Continue towards Puri. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 5: PURI Enjoy a relaxed morning on the Beach. In the afternoon visit the town of Puri. It is known for its festivals and processions. Visit the Shrine of Jagannath from outside - also called the white Pagoda. Puri is very famous for the colourful procession of Rath Yatra. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 6 : PURI / BHUBANESWAR / HYDERABAD In the morning return to Bhubaneshwar to take a flight for Hyderabad. Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Hyderabad, the capital of Andhra Pradesh, is a city of oriental glory and of crowded bazaar. This 400-year-old metropolis represents a perfect blend of old world charm and modern day charisma. In the afternoon, visit of the legendary city - the Salar Jung museum, the largest one-man collection museum in the World with a priceless collection of antiques followed by the famous Char Minar. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 7 : HYDERABAD In the morning enjoy an excursion to the historic Golconda fort famous for its acoustic system, palaces and ingenious water supply system. It is also known for its Diamond market and is said that the world famous diamond "Kohinoor" came from here. Thereafter, proceed for the astonishingly beautiful Qutub Shahi Tombs. Afternoon is free to rest or to explore the city by yourself. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 8 : HYDERABAD / BIDAR / GULBARGA Next morning, proceed to Gulbarga via Bidar - a small 15th Century city having some beautiful mosques, tombs and palaces reflecting the glory of the erstwhile Bahamani kingdom. Thereafter, continue towards Gulbarga, capital of Bahamani rulers in 14th and 15th century. This city, ruled by Hindus and later by Muslim kings has a unique synthesis of two rich cultures with its historic charm. Late in the afternoon, visit the Fort, Jama Masjid, the tomb of Khwaja Bande Nawaz (an important local Muslim saint) and the Sharana Basaveshwara temple. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 9 : GULBARGA / BIJAPUR In the morning, proceed towards the medieval walled city of Bijapur, synonymous with the famous Gol Gumbaz, the glorious tomb of Adil Shah, the 7th Bahamani ruler in 17th Century. It is perhaps the largest unsupported structures in the world, 44 m in diameter with very impressive acoustics. Bijapur was originally founded by the Chualakyas between 10th and 11th Century and was called Vijaypura or the city of victory. It is from here that its present name Bijapur comes from. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 10: BIJAPUR / BADAMI Today morning, proceed for Badami, renowned for its rich history and ancient architecture. Badami has a number of richly carved monuments and cave temples dating back to the 6th and 7th centuries. Arrive in Badami and proceed to the hotel. In the afternoon visit the astonishingly beautiful rock-cut temples replete with carved pillars and bracket figures with some magnificent frescoes dedicated to Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu in various reincarnations. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11: BADAMI / PATTADAKAL / AIHOLE / BADAMI Morning excursion to Pattadakal, the last Chalukyan capital and now a world heritage site. It has many temples with exquisite sculptures. We visit the famous Virupaksha

temple, the largest in Pattadkal dedicated to Lord Shiva with fine sculptures. Then, continue towards Aihole - the first Chalukyan capital having many temples dedicated to the various deities of the Hindu pantheon. Durga temple with its arches, elevated base and the gallery that encircles the shrine is known as the 'Cradle of Indian Architecture'. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 12 : BADAMI / GOA In the morning, depart via a scenic route for Goa. Located on the Konkan Coast, it is bestowed with picturesque landscape, sun-drenched beaches, historic monuments, pleasant climate and hospitable people. Being under Portuguese colonial rule for more than 450 years there is a Portuguese influence in almost every aspect of Goan life, architecture etc. Arrive in Goa and proceed to your hotel. Rest of the day is free to relax on the beach. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 13 : GOA Morning free to relax by the beach. In the afternoon, visit Panaji - Capital of Goa. The town with narrow winding streets, old houses with over hanging balconies, red-tiled roofs and numerous small bars and cafe's give it a distinct Portuguese look. Old Goa is the spiritual heart of Christian Goa with grandiose churches of St. Catherine and the Basilica of Bom Jesus, which has the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 15 : GOA / MUMBAI In the morning transfer to the airport to take a flight for Mumbai, dubbed as the financial capital of India. DAY 3 : KOLKATA / GUWAHATI Next morning, fly Guwahati - City of the Eastern Light, situated on the bank of the mighty Brahmaputra River. The name Guwahati is a combination of two words: Guwa meaning areca nut and Hat meaning market. Afternoon, enjoy a city tour visiting Kamakhya Temple, Jatinga, Umananda Temple, Nabagraha Temple. DAY 5 : ITANAGAR Today, visit the magnificent Ita Fort (ita=brick), dating back to the 14th-15th century. It is believed to have been built by King Ramachandra. Visit the Buddhist Temple & Gayker Sinyi (also known as Ganga Lake). Overnight.

DAY 6 : ITANAGAR / ZIRO Morning proceed to Ziro, a small picturesque destination with Pine and Bamboo groves, located at a high altitude. The indigenous method of rice cultivation is also worth seeing. Overnight.

DAY 7 : ZIRO In the morning, visit the Tribes. Apa Tani are one of the tribes of Arunachal Pradesh, who still know how to preserve their traditional way of life. The women carry abstract nose rings. Men and women are tattooed. The women Apa Tani are famous for their ability with weaving. Visit the fish breeding farm and a workshop of weaving. Overnight

DAY 8 : ZIRO / DAPORIJO Next morning, proceed towards Daporijo. Enroute visit few villages. Daporijo, is a beautiful place on the right bank of Subansiri river surrounded by picturesque villages. Overnight.

The town is built round the Sibsagar tank, dug over 200 years ago. On its banks are located some of the famous temples of Sibsagar. The Shiva temple, constructed in the year 1734 is believed to be the highest Hindu temple in India. Overnight.

DAY 14 : SIBSAGAR / MAJULI Next morning, proceed to Majuli - the largest River Island in the world and cradle of the Assamese culture. Overnight.

DAY 15 : MAJULI / KAZIRANGA Today proceed towards Kaziranga National Park. The world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, as well as many mammals, including tigers, elephants, panthers and bears along with thousands of birds, inhabit the park. Overnight.

DAY 16 : KAZIRANGA Located on the banks of Brahmaputra, Kaziranga's 430 sq kms of lush green plains are home to some of the most fascinating wildlife in Asia. Visit the park on elephant back

DAY 17 : KAZIRANGA / GUWAHATI Following morning, return to Guwahati, which is amongst the most sprinkled place in the world. The annual rainfall can reach 8 meters. Overnight.

DAY 6 : PARAGPUR /DHARAMSALA (75 km surface) In the morning, depart for Dharamsala, often referred to as mini Lhasa. It lies on the Dhauladhar range & the Pir Panjal region of the outer Himalayas. Dharamsala, at present, is the seat of His Holiness, the Dalai LAMA since his exile in 1959. Afternoon, visit Mc Leodganj and the Tibetian Museum. Overnight. Belonging to the red sect, it is famed for its colourful annual Hemis Festival held in honour of Guru Padma Sambhava. DAY 10 : LEH / ULE TOKPO (LAMAYURU) In the morning, enjoy an excursion to the extraordinary site of Lamayuru. The complex was founded in the 11th century and houses a library, thought to be the oldest in region. The present monastery dates back to the 16th century and has the 11 headed image of the Avalokiteshwara Buddha. Mainly in ruins, it also has some murals and thankas. Overnight.

DAY 11 : LEH Today, visit the Shankar monastery. It serves as the residence of the head priest - Kushak Bakula. A number of gold icons can be discovered here. If time permits, visit Tak-Thog Gompa. Overnight

Day 4 : DARJEELING / PEMAYANGTSENext morning, proceed for Pemayangtse. Here, the mighty Kanchenjunga overlooks the land of Sikkim. Pemayangtse in Sikkim, nestles close to Kanchenjunga. Pemayangtse is 6000 ft above sea level and it is where one of the most famous Buddhist monasteries is located. The Pemayangtse monastery is the second oldest monastery in Sikkim and is the headquarters of the Nyingma sect. Overnight.

Day 5 : PEMAYANGTSE / GANGTOK Following morning, proceed to Gangtok. The state of Sikkim lies in the shadow of the mighty Kanchenjunga. Its capital, Gangtok, is a picturesque mountain clinging town with monasteries, parks, pagoda style houses and colourful bazars. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Day 05 - Nagarahole / Coorg (130 Km) After breakfast drive to Coorg. Situated on the Western Ghats at an altitude of 1100 m above sea level, Coorg is dotted with beautiful coffee and tea plantations, alluring nature trails and splendid waterfalls, it's a place good enough to be visited again and again. Day07 –Coorg / Mysore (120Kms) After breakfast drive to Mysore. The capital of a former princely state of Wodeyar Dynasty. DAY 7 JAIPUR – FATEHPUR SIKRI – AGRAMorning- hit the road towards Agra, the old imperial capital of India, en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned city built by Akbar which was the Mughal capital for 14 years.. DAY 8 AGRAMorning- visit the world famous Taj Mahal, whose eternal beauty will astonish and mesmerize the visitors. Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan built Taj Mahal in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, who died in 1631. Thereafter, visit the historical Red Fort where lived three Mughal Emperors. Each one left there print, red sandstone of Akbar and Jahangir, white marble of Shah Jahan. This fort rises on the edges of Yamuna; it is surrounded by a wall 20 meters high and 2500m in perimeter. Day 1 : DEPART FOR DELHI

Day 2: ARRIVE DELHI Arrive in Delhi in the morning...! Welcome and transfer to the hotel. Thereafter, in the afternoon visit Old Delhi. Day 3 : DELHI / PATNA / BODHGAYA Next morning, take a flight to Patna - capital of Bihar. Lord Buddha worked and lived in Bihar. It is here that he attained enlightenment and preached Buddhism. Arrive in Patna and proceed to Bodhgaya - the most sacred places for the Buddhists. Enroute visit Nalanda - the most renowned university of ancient India. Overnight

Day 4 : BODHGAYA In the morning, visit the Bodhi tree, under which Lord Buddha attained enlightenment. Later, visit the sacred Mahabodhi temple, an architectural amalgamation of many cultures and heritages. The temple boasts of architecture of the Gupta's and has inscriptions of pilgrims from Sri Lanka, Myanmar and China (Hiuen Tsang between 7th and 10th century AD). Then visit Niranjana River, Japanese & Thai Temple. Overnight

Day 5 : BODHGAYA / VARANASI (SURFACE) Following morning, proceed for Varanasi - one of the

World's oldest living cities. It is also the holiest 'Hindu city. Thousands come daily to Varanasi to take a holy dip in the Ganges, to worship and absolve their sins. It is a wish of every devout Hindu to pass their last days in Varanasi. Overnight

Day 6 : VARANASIEnjoy an early morning boat ride on the Ganges. At this hour the Ganges is teeming with pilgrims. Witness the living traditions of one of the world's oldest religions. Thereafter, walk through the narrow lanes and colourful bazaars in the heart of the old city and visit the revered Kashi Vishwa Nath Temple, Banaras Hindu University and Bharat Mata Temple. In the afternoon, visit Sarnath – amongst the holiest Buddhist sites in the world. It is here, Lord Buddha delivered his first Sermon in 590 BC. Sarnath has a fine museum filled with sculptures. Overnight

Day 7 : VARANASI / KUSHINAGAR (SURFACE 280 KMS) In the afternoon, proceed for the Kushinagar - the place Buddha chose for his Mahaparinirvana (final exit) from this earth. Overnight

Day 8 : KUSHINAGAR / LUMBINI (SURFACE 161 KMS) Following morning visit Mathakuar. Here Lord Buddha delivered his last sermon. Then, visit Rambhar Stupa. Later, proceed for Lumbini - where Siddharta Gautama (Lord Buddha), was born in 623 B.C. Overnight

Day 9 : LUMBINI / BALRAMPUR (SURFACE) In the morning, visit to Nirvana Temple, the Mayadevi Temples and other interesting sites. In the afternoon. proceed for Balrampur. Overnight

Day 10 : BALRAMPUR / LUCKNOW (surface 140 kms) Next morning, proceed for sightseeing of Balrampur. Later, continue for Lucknow - capital of Uttar Pradesh and of the erstwhile Nawabs of Avadh, known for their leisurely habits, etiquette, fine architecture, delicious food and refinement. The city has very carefully preserved this spirit of the bygone era. Overnight

Day 11 : LUCKNOW / DELHI Enjoy a city tour in the morning. Later, transfer to airport for flight to Delhi. Overnight

Day 12 : DELHI / NEXT DESTINATIONIn the morning, proceed for a city tour of New Delhi. Drive past the stately government buildings of the British Era designed by Lutyens, including the India Gate & the Presidential Palace. Later visit Old Delhi - The Red Fort, Raj Ghat the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi.

Later in the evening transfer to international airport to board homebound flight.
