Richard Kuppusamy is a chartered British Architect with more than 18 years of experience in the AEC industry with projects across Europe to Asia.. He graduated from the Mackintosh School of Architecture, Glasgow, with a Masters in Architecture and Urban Design in 2001. After practicing in the UK for over 10 years; Richard returned to Singapore to join acclaimed architectural practice, WOHA Architects. In 2017 he joined Lendlease, as the Head of Digital Engineering where he leads the implementation of innovation in digital technology and processes through BIM/VDC from design, construction through to facility management.

Currently, head of Mechanical Services facilities management and maintenance, as well as leading the building sustainability effort in Nanyang Technological University (NTU). Within 4 years or work, manage to upgrade 95% of all NTU’s buildings (more than 200) to Green Mark Platinum and in the process help NTU won the highest Green Mark Award in Singapore, Green Mark Platinum Star Champion. This years, help NTU upgrade seven buildings to Zero Energy Building and one to Super Low Energy Building which again is the new record in Singapore. Was awarded Green Facilities Manager of the Year 2017 jointly by Singapore Building Construction Authority and Singapore Green Building Council.
