CIRCULAR

Subject:- Guidelines for airlines regarding Ebola Virus Disease.

In continuation of this office Circular of even No. dated 11th August2OI4, following guidelines are issued for strict compliance by internationalflights bringing passengers from Ebola Virus affected countries withimmediate effect:-

ii.

All the passengers sitting one row behind and one row ahead of theEVD suipected passenger are to be kept under surveillance so that ifany of them develops the sign and symptoms of the disease,immediate measures may be taken at that time to treat such cases toprevent the spread of disease further.

The Fumigation/Disinfection of those aircrafts bringing EVDsuspected pu.""".rg"rs is to be carried out so that the disease is nottransmitted to other Passengers.

The details (Name, Address, Passport No. and Contact No.) of contactpassengers sitting nearby the suspected EVD passengers is to beprovided by the airline operators as and when required by the AirportHealth Organisation Officers'

The aircraft carrying the EVD suspected passengers has to take offfor the next flight after Disinfection/Fumigation & clearance by theAPHO Officers.
