Short radius sidetracks. Baker OilTools introduced its PathMASTERWhipstock System, delivering the one-trip and retrievable features of theWindowMaster Whipstock with a short-er whipstock ramp and full gauge millsfor more efficient short-radius casingexits. The system can start, mill andream a window exit without requiring achange in bottom hole assembly, result-ing in a full gauge window in onemilling trip. The PathMASTER Systemhas a quicker kickoff with a higherbuild rate for short radius drillingapplications. The shorter whipstockcombines with a milling assembly con-sisting of only a window mill andwatermelon mill to form a significantlyshorter window exit BHA capable of

passing through higher doglegs in thewellbore.

New well control system. Schlum-berger introduced the SenTREE HP(High Performance) that enables thewell testing and completion of explo-ration, appraisal and development sub-sea wells in challenging environments.The SenTREE HP has a 6 3/8-in. boreand a working pressure rating of15,000 psi. To complement the system,the existing field-proven Commandertelemetry in-riser controls will beupgraded to match the operating enve-lope to provide a 15 second responsetime to shut in the well and disconnectthe landing string regardless of waterdepth. ■

Pride announces changes. PrideInternational announced that Imran(Ron) Toufeeq was named the compa-ny's Vice president of Engineering &Technical Services. He was previouslyemployed by R&B Falcon, ultimatelyserving as Senior Vice President ofOperations. He most recently served inan advisory capacity to other compa-nies in the drilling industry. Additional-ly, Mario Kricorian was named VicePresident of Latin American Opera-tions. John Talbot was named VicePresident of Markeitng

ENSCO makes appointment. ENSCOInternational appointed Charles AMiller as Vice President HumanResources and Security. He was mostrecently Senior Vice President HumanResources and Corporate Services forHunt oil Company from 1989 to 2002.

Senior management change at Park-er. Parker's Senior Vice President andCOO Robert Nash is resigning fromthe company. Mr Nash will serve as aconsultant to the company upon hisdeparture on June 30. He joined thecompany in 2001 as Senior Vice Presi-dent and COO.
