Notes:
+ Golden Circle Alumni Luncheons take place between July and November and attract, on average, 20 –
50 alumni at various locations throughout southern (and northern) New Hampshire.
* Annual Florida Reunion – historically, these events have their foundation in an annual event stretching
back to the early- to mid-70s with a no-host picnic at Philippi Park on old Tampa Bay. Over the years, as
founders and long-time attendees have aged or passed away, there was a need to change the event to
hosted lunches or dinner in private homes and/or restaurants.
Goals of the Proposal The current schedule of events has not changed significantly over the past several years. This
proposal recommends the implementation of several new initiatives that will meet the needs of a
growing and diversified alumni population, while matching the goals of the College’s and the
Association’s strategic plans to engage a greater number of alumni in the intellectual life of the
College:
Conduct a cost-benefit analysis for each on- and off-campus event
Expand Golden Circle to include additional regional events in Vermont,
Massachusetts and Connecticut
Establish an annual calendar for expanded regional events, reaching beyond New
Hampshire and Florida
