REFLEXION: Nuestra comunidad hispana realiza diversas celebraciones que anticipan, con alegría, el nacimiento del Señor, que se manifestó con todo su poder como el Hijo de Dios. Hoy, los textos de la liturgia dominical, muestran el gozo de los que esperan al Señor (las vestimentas vuelven a ser moradas), y en muchos lugares para esta fecha ya se han colocado en los templos decoraciones navideñas. La Palabra nos anuncia cómo la esperanza del pueblo se hace realidad en la historia. Isaías retoma la promesa que el Señor le hiciera al rey Ajaz. El Evangelio nos presenta la revelación de la promesa a José en un sueño; y san Pablo nos invita a compartir el anuncio del Reino que nos trae el Señor de la gloria. Como un anticipo espiritual de la celebración de Navidad se nos invita a orar con frecuencia, preparándonos espiritualmente para recibir a nuestro Salvador.

VOICES NEEDED for the Christmas Choir which will help lead songs at Mass on Wednesday, December 25 at 9 am. Practice is Sunday, December 22 at 7 pm at St. Francis Xavier.

Eucharistic ministers to the homebound and care centers from all three parishes. If you can help, please call
