We tradionally think of syrup & pancakes, waesHowever, syrup can be a great way to carefully
control the added sugar in some healthy foods. Instead ofbuying pre-sweetened oatmeal (which is oen overlysweetened) buy plain oats and control the sweetnessyourself by adding a dash of syrup and fresh or frozen fruit.

Bacon Cheeseburger on a Whole Grain BunCheeseburgers are one of the greatest sources of iron, necessary for ourgrowing customers. To keep it interesting this month we add a slice ofturkey bacon to the cheeseburger this month!
Bacon, Egg and Spinach Salad
Spinach by itself can be a tough adjustment to those not used to eating itbut spinach is the most nutrient dense leafy green. We mix it with othergreens to make for an easier transition and top it with egg & turkey bacon.
