L’arc de Triomphe, Champs-Elysées – most famous avenue in the world and
second most expensive real estate property.
ARC DE TRIOMPHEHow do you get to the Arche de Triomphe? It is in the middle of the traffic circle! There are four lanes of traffic to cross!
TOMB OF THE UNKNOWN SOLDIER• Honors soldiers who gave their lives for their
country• The idea of honoring one soldier, symbolizing
all those who died for their country at the front, arose in 1916 during the First World War.

• 1889 Exposition the date that marked the 100th anniversary of the French Revolution
• Selected from among 107 projects, it was that of Gustave Eiffel
• On the 31st March 1889, the Tower finished in record time – 2 years, 2 months and 5 days – and was established as a veritable technical feat.

monuments that forms the “Axe historique” running through Paris.
