I’ve always loved food, like most people do and have been introduced to so many gourmet meals due to my Italian roots.
Eventually I decided I wanted a job in food. Originally I wanted to be a critic but found I prefer to prepare then judge.
I attended Wilkes Central High School where I gained a greater
understanding of the profession by taking Culinary Arts classes where
we prepared meals for faculty, teachers, and various community and professional organizations.
In my last year of high school I took an internship at Betty’s Bread & Pastries in downtown Wilkesboro.
While there I learned a about a business that deals with the preparation and distribution of food.
Next year I shall be attending Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte, North Carolina to obtain an Associate Degree in Culinary arts
Later I plan to transfer to the Rhode Island Campus to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Food Service Entrepreneurship
