Letter from the
O W N E RHello friends! It is that time of the year again…
where we breathe easy right before the “craziness” of the holidays consumes all of our time and energy. Maybe this year we can all make a few minor changes and ease our stress. Try scheduling some “secret time” just for you & your heavenly Father. This will make a difference in your state of mind and overall happiness through the holiday season. I will share that one of my “secret” places I spend time with the Lord is in my closet. Now I realize that this is no longer my secret place because I just told you…..but if you are a parent, you probably understand why a closet might be the perfect “secret” place. Sometimes it’s 3 am when I am spending time with Him. Just me, my Bible, my heav-enly Father and complete silence. I encourage each and every one of you to find your secret place and take time to be peaceful this holiday season.
Many blessings to you all,
meet theSTAFF

SOUTHERN BELLEAntiquesDid you know Southern Belle Antiques and Interi-
ors in Goddard has CeCe Caldwell all natural chalk and clay paint classes?E-mail, Facebook, or call for details.
A lifelong love of striv-ing to make our house a home has been the inspiration for South-ern Belle Antiques and Interiors. I grew up in a family business. I saw my parents and sister daily. Our chil-dren even had their playpens in the offices. My mothers example during this time played a large role in giving me the courage to go ahead with this dream of mine. She worked all day, but still had a desire to have a warm and comforting home for us. I had a wonder-ful role model.
So starting a small family business didn’t seem like a big stretch. Even though our chil-dren are grown and away from home, my wonderful husband of 27 years is always ready to help.
I, along with most women have a God given natu-ral instinct to feather their nest. To make their homes into a place where family and friends feel comfort-able to gather. I have felt that need since I was a young bride.
At Southern Belle Antiques and Interiors, we try to help each person find the perfect piece for their home. We encourage everyone to bring a picture of their space to help us better understand what they

are striving to achieve. Two things , I think are important to a warm
home. First, when you have hard surfaces, such as
wood floors, leather furni-ture, ect. It is best to mix in some soft surfaces for balance. Pillows, curtains, rugs, even some greenery. Balance is key.
Second, a few large statement pieces can be a nice balance when you have a collection of things, like clocks, figurines, books. Putting your items in a tray can also help you display your items, yet keep them from looking cluttered.
We also sell and have classes for a line of paint that is an all natural chalk and clay. CeCe Caldwell. Sometimes all you need to refresh your space is to bring an old tired piece back to life with a coat of paint. Just open the jar and start to create.
I believe we can help you find that something special you are looking for. Be it a baby gift, wedding gift, teacher gift, that lovely
piece for your home, even a painting class. We would love to have you come spend some
time with us. We are a very short drive west of Wichita, located at 103 North Main in Goddard, Kansas.
We feel blessed beyond measure to have had so many wonderful people pass thru our door, we would love to see you too.Blessings and thanks bunches!
