About Us At Creative Children’s Center, we believe that children learn best when they
are joyfully engaged in the learning process. Children are unique and
competent individuals that communicate in “100 languages.” Our strong
foundation in the arts encourages that vital communication.
Opened by Lucy Chaillé and a group of local parents, CCC admitted it’s first
students in 1990. CCC has now touched the lives of thousands of students
from Preschool to High School. Our facility has grown to include three
interactive classrooms and a large naturescape play yard.
CCC is an active member of The International Reggio Exchange and Parent
Child Preschools of Oregon. Our staff are all members of The National
Association of the Education of the Young Child.

Our Creative Curriculum
Writing, singing, acting, moving and inventing! Sculpting, building, painting,
drawing and designing! Creative Children’s Center’s camps inspire the im-
agination in us all! We bring together
the teachers, environment, materials and
the tools needed for children to thrive.
Each day students are given “launching
points” for their investigations.
Teachers introduce “Big Ideas” at the
daily meeting that inspire children to
actively participate in their own ed-
ucational development. Inside or out,
each day is jam packed with summer fun.
CCC’s professional teachers design and run our summer programs ensuring
quality and safety for all campers. Teacher Casey has been directing the
summer camp program since 2003 and is a multi
-age preschool teacher during the school year.
Teacher Ally has also been teaching summer
camp at CCC for four years, as well as for eight
years in New Hampshire. She teaches the CCC
Elementary program during the school year.
Supporting Casey and Ally will be Teacher
Courtney and the director, Lucy Chaillé. Court-
ney teaches mixed-age preschool during the
school year and enjoys spending time with her
children while supporting camps during the
summer.
