1. In the preparation of the PRSP, we aligned the PRSP with the MDGs (show table)
2. Presented and accepted in the CG in November and the results framework will be used for monitoring the PRSP in the quarterly DEPAC (Government, donors including Civil Society) meetings.
In the context of this process, what are the next steps for costing the MDGs?
The current PRSP is a plan for up to 2007 We are about to embark on the next PRSP which
will incorporate a 10 year plan while implementing the remaining 2 years.
What are the major challenges in terms of process and substance?
The major challenge is developing an MDG based PRSP with a longer term perspective: 10 years.
What are your expectations of support from the UN Country Team and other partners?
To provide technical capacity for the needs assessment
Support to build up a reliable and timely data base Provide resources to undertake the process Mobilize resources for quick impact interventions UNCT to solicit support from other agencies and
donors in the country
