About Toms Shoes• Toms is a US based shoes making
company founded in 2006 by Mr. Blake Mycoskie when he met children in an Argentine village and found that they have no shoes to protect there feets.
• The company designs and sells shoes based on the Argentine Alpargata Design as well as eyewear.
Awards And Achievements'
• In 2009, Blake and TOMS received the Secretary of State's 2009 Award of Corporate Excellence (ACE)
• People Magazine featured Blake in its "Heroes Among Us" section.
• Winner of the 2007 Cooper Hewitt People's Design Award.

TOMS CSR Model• “One for One” model • Company's promise to deliver a
pair of free, new shoes to a child in need for every sale of their retail product.
• The countries to which the free products are sent have included Argentina, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Haiti, Rwanda, South Africa, and the United States.
More than Shoes Distribution
• Over 2 Million Children have been protected from hookworm with medication and Toms shoes.
• 42% Increase in maternal health care program participation as result of Shoe Distribution.
• Increase in student enrollment of 1000 in Liberian primary school classrooms after TOMS shoe distribution began.
• For making these shoes Toms created over 700 jobs in regions where they give shoes.
• Employee an equal ratio of male to female workers
Safe Births of Child • In 2015, TOMS Bag Collection launched in 4
countries with 3 Giving Partners to help address the need for advancements in maternal health.
• Infection is a leading cause of death for mothers and newborns worldwide. By providing clean birth conditions and skilled attendants, nearly half a million of lives can be saved.
• Purchases of TOMS Bags help TOMS provide training for skilled birth attendants and distribute birth kits containing items that help a woman safely deliver her baby.

Eyecare Camps
• TOMS Eyewear launched in 2011.• TOMS Eyewear purchases provide a
person in need with a full eye exam by trained medical professionals. Each patient then receives the treatment he or she needs.
• TOMS has helped restore sight to over 300 thousand people in need.
Safe Drinking Water
• Each bag of TOMS Roasting Co. Coffee provides 140 Liters of safe water, a week's supply, to a person in need.
• TOMS Roasting Co. launched in 2014, and has helped provide over 67,000 weeks of safe water in 6 countries.
Mission & Vision Statement of TOMS
• The responsibility of providing for the comfort of children in impoverished regions worldwide. •“For every pair of TOMS shoes purchased online or at retail, the company will provide a pair to a child in need”.
