HOW TO MAKE FRIED JINTUL
Jintul is traditional food from Slawi,Tegal regency, Central Java,Indonesia. It is made of crushed steamed-cassava. It is shaped into balls, blocks, or circle.It is sliced into pieces to serve. It can be served with rujak teplak (tegal traditional salad) or sprinkled with grated coconut. Some Slawi people prefer it is fried.
MATERIALS
5 tablespoon of water
A pinch of salt
A bulb of onionA bulb of garlic
A tea spoon of ground coriander
Cooking oil
A block of jintul (sliced)
HOW TO MAKE
1. Grind the garlic and the onion2. Add coriander and salt
3. Add water
HOW TO MAKE
4. Dampen the sliced jintul with the mixture
HOW TO MAKE 5. Heat the oil
HOW TO MAKE 6. Fry the dampened jintul
HOW TO MAKE 7. When the it has turned golden
bwown take the jintul from the frying pan
Jintul is ready to serve
