A Simple Request with Great Results In 1997, Saint Cecilia parishioner Jan Kaiser invited St. Joseph parishioners, including Dr. Maureen Murphy, to join a mission trip to Haiti. This parish twinning led to the formation of Haiti Medical Mission of Wisconsin (HMMW) and its partnering relationship with Thiotte. That request, together with steadfast parish support, has resulted in direct health care for 50,000 people in remote southeast Haiti from Haitian staff and HMMW volunteers. Collectively, they established the Centre de Sante Sacre-Coeur de Thiotte (CSST) clinic and hospital as a year round regional medical hub. Area Haitians have daily access to preventative, primary, maternal, and pediatric care, plus health care education provided by Haitian doctors, nurses and health care staff.
A note from Fr. Guy Belange: “Good day dear Benefactors; The Parish and I thank you for your generosity. I have just celebrated this year the silver anniversary of the parish thanks to you who have supported us for nearly 25 years. The parish is very grateful to you. A big thank you to all the supporters of the Parish of Saint Cecilia and Saint Joseph. May God in His great goodness never cease to fill you with His many graces.”

We have always been blessed at Saint Cecilia with wonderful priests. Dedicate a daily rosary, a Divine Mercy chaplet, an hour in Adoration, offer a Mass, or make some other prayerful contribution in your own unique way.
PRAYER FOR PRIESTS Gracious and loving God, we thank you for
the gift our priests. Through them, we experience your presence in the sacraments.
Help our priests to be strong in their vocation. Set their souls on fire with love for
your people. Grant them the wisdom, understanding, and strength they need to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. Inspire them with the vision of your Kingdom.
Give them the words they need to spread the Gospel. Allow them to experience joy in their ministry. Help them to become
instruments of your divine grace. We ask this through Jesus Christ, who lives
and reigns as our Eternal Priest. Amen.
