Comparing what I’ve learnt about Campaigns

Type of Campaign

Message Audience Campaigning Techniques

Effectiveness (and how you can tell how effective it’s been)

CommercialTo advertise the thing they are showing the commercial for.

Every one. (Depending on what the commercial is about.

T.V adverts. Sometimes you also have posters, news broadcasts, etc.

Some commercials are very effective but some are not. For example; Asda advert is effective but Morrisons advert is not that effective.

Charity

To help raise money for different things.

The target audience for charities are everyone.

Posters, Leaflets, Adverts, Commercials, Radio Broadcasts etc.

The charities are very effective because for example red nose day you see everyone wearing a red nose also there is a T.V. programme which also helps to raise money.

Pressure Group

To get what ever their point is across.

Could be everyone or it could just be to certain people for example people in the Government.

Posters, Leaflets, Protests.

They are very effective because they aim for main people in charge.

PoliticalTo aim on helping people and other.

The target audience ranges. In cranford its everyone (I.e. students, staff etc.) but out of school political thing are mainly for adults.

Meetings, Surveys, Vote, on the new, over the radio.

They are all very successful for example in Cranford almost every student and staff voted for head boy and head girl.
