OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
1) Make sure the plug is firmly plugged into the socket.
2) Make sure the water tank is placed in correct position.(When using the dehumidifier for the first time, if the fulltank lamp is lit up, just pull out the water tank thenpush it back into the correct position.)
3When the water tank is full, the indication lamp will light up,the dehumidifier will stop operating. Remove the water inthe tank, then place the water tank back to it's proper positionthe machine will start operating again.

4 DEFROSTWhen operating in low temperatures (less than 12°C) the surface of the evaporatorwill accumualate frost and effect the efficiency of the dehumidifier. When thishappens the machine will go into periodic defrost mode automatically. This is quitenormal. Defrost lamp will come on. Model (GDH-DEH16E) will operate intemperatures down to 5 . Defrost time may vary. If the dehumidifier freezes up,turn off at power supply and restart unit. If the temperature remains at a very lowlevel, continuously outside the operational range off the dehumidifier, 5 °C to35°C,the unit should be switched off.

1. Prepare PVC hose to drain out water(The hose requires an inner dia of 13mm)
2. Take out the bung of the drainage outlet .
3. Take out the soft cover, put it and tube bunginto the bucket for storage.
4. Connect the PVC hose with the drainage outlet.
5.Place the bucket in its original location.

The Proper Way To Place The Water Drainage PVC Hose
1)Put the PVC hose into the back of the closed hole, then connect the PVC hoseto the front.
When using continuous drainage, the PVC hose most be placed below the drainagehole.

2) Cleaning the Air FilterThe purpose of the air filter is to filter dust or other materials in the air.clean the filter every two weeks.
Cleaning StepsA. Pull out the filter gently.
B. Clean the filter by using a vacuum cleaner or washing with clean water .

If a problem occurs, unplug the machine and contact your Dimplex Service Centerimmediately on 0800 6662824. Do not tamper with the internal workings of the unit.
