Acidic Task Specific Ionic Liquid Catalyzed Synthesis of Dihydropyrimidinones. — The use of an acidic ionic liquid as catalyst in Biginelli reactions is studied. The solventless reactions are carried out under thermal conditions, microwave irradiation, and by simple grinding.
