Testimonials: “Coach Junker, since you have helped me change my swing, I have had so much success as a hitter. Of course it helped me become a great high school hitter, but it has also helped me have a great career at Seton Hill University. I led my team in hitting my Jr. year at .386 and as a senior, I helped lead my team to 46 wins which is a school record. Just wanted to say, thanks for your help.”
-Josh Logan
“Baseball is more than just a sport. There are many life lessons to be learned from the game: sportsman-ship, team , mental strength, endurance, and most notable, BELIEF in oneself!! You have developed their skills by teaching them drills, repetition, and footwork. From a skills perspective, they have blos-somed. But, most importantly, they have developed sportsmanship and self confidence. I feel this lesson crosses over into other parts of our lives. Yes, it truly takes a village to develop a child into a successful young adult. I credit your commitment, talent and genuine belief in my boys to their success in base-ball. I could go on and on but, I believe the following quote summarizes what you have done for my boys over the past 4 years
The greatest good you can do for another is not just to share your riches but to reveal to him his own. ~Benjamin Disraeli
Thanks for all you have done !” -Annette Seelhorst
“Brian. I have had the good fortune
of watching you coach and develop at
my camp for the last 17 years. You
are a great student of the game and
have the ability to interact with play-
ers and coaches in a positive manor.
You have always exhibited the high-
est level of sportsmanship and dig-
nity. I’m very excited to watch you
continue the tradition of running one
of the best camps in the tri-state area.
Thank you!
-Jerry Matulevic
Coach Junker’s Philosophy:
Baseball is a game of repetition. It is very
important to master these fundamentals at
an early age. This camp will provide the
very latest fundamentals and the player
will have many chances to rep them during
the day. There will be a heavy emphasis on
the word FUN in fundamentals. Baseball
players learn best when having fun.
While most of us want to be MLB players,
odds tell us that this may not happen.
Therefore, the instructors at camp will
help to develop social skills, sportsmanship
and self confidence that will help your child
succeed in everyday life.
