Our MissiOnStaying Faithful: In dependence upon God we seek toimpact the world through literature faithful to His infallibleword, the Bible. Our aim is to ensure that the Lord JesusChrist is presented as the only hope to obtain forgiveness ofsin, live a useful life and look forward to heaven with Him.
Reaching Out: Christs last command requires us to reachout to our world with His gospel. We seek to help full thatby publishing books that point people towards Jesus and forthem to develop a Christ-like maturity. We aim to equip alllevel of readers for life, work, ministry and mission.
O Ag rag fo BookWe have a wide age range of books from pre-school toteenagers. As an age guide, we have read to (rT) and readfor myself (rM) classications. For example rT 4-6, rM 6-8indicates that you can read or teach the book to 4 to 6 yearolds and 6 to 8 year olds can read it for themselves.
Lately weve commemorated several anniversaries.
2011 marked 400 years since the publication of the
King James Bible See Guarding the Treasure on page
8. Then there was the sinking of the Titanic 100 years
ago. See Titanic: The Ship of Dreams on page 5.
We also published Carine Mackenzies 150th
book, 365 Great Bible Stories. That has been quite a
landmark for us at Christian Focus Publications. See
the following page.2011 also sees our 30th Trailblazer on the life of Eric
Liddell Finish the Race. Go to page 6. Its good to see
this published in time for the London Olympics 2012.
With all these thoughts about numbers and history
its tting that weve published The Magnicent,
Amazing Time Machine by Sinclair B. Ferguson (see
page 24). This book takes us on a journey back to the
Cross; that point in time that changes everything when
we believe its truth and trust in the one who gave up
his life there.

Carine and Williams young girls used to ask as they read a childrens book Does the Bible really say that? and the
answer would have to be on too many occassions no. William and Carine and Williams brothers knew there was a need
or Christian books that were true to the Bible. Carine sat down to write her rst childrens book, Gideon (See the Bible
Time Series, page 23) while her two year old daughter was at her feet blissfully playing with a basin of a water. Over thirty
years have passed since that day and Carines books have been translated into more than seventy languages and sold
over 3 million copies. In 2011 we celebrate the launch of Carines 150th Book: 365 Great Bible stories, the good news of
Jesus from Genesis toRevelation sums up what CF4k Books are all about. Faithful to Gods Word, focussed on the Gospel
and lled with application for a childs life.

BadLucille was retelling the story
of Dr. Paul Brands work with
lepers especially his long search for shoes that would
protect their feet at a Childrens Awana club when the
idea for the book The Shoes that Love Madecame
about. The story of Paul Brand, missionary doctor to
lepers in India and eventually world-wide, shows us
how his own feet were protected and guided even
in war time on the very path he was to follow, one
that would forever change how the world saw lepers.
Her interest in writing began as young girl living in an
orphanage in upstate New York, and was encouraged
when she received a bronze medal in a state-wide
essay contest and later a poetry contest. Lucille Travis
has written several books for children, held childrens
writing workshops, taught college-level English, and
lectured in Christian literature. One of her joys today is
encouraging the efforts of young writers.
