Moto Corps, Dharuhera and Medicamen Bio Medical Company, Bhiwadi.

Other Achievements of the Cell
Career Counselling, Training and Placement Cell of the University in consultation and coordination with advisory committee has put its endeavor in achieving the objectives given to the cell time to time. The following activities have taken place during the year 2014-15.
1. Personality development classes were conducted during the last semester with the focus on Communication skills, Personality development, Computer skills, Values and Ethics, Social skills, etc. (Approved Schedule is attached along with).
2. Special classes for the SSB aspirants were conducted on 2-3 Dec 2014 by Commandant Kataria for which 45 students registered themselves and 20 attended. Mentoring of Commandant Kataria had a great impact on the student’s personality and performance. That leads to growing demand from the students to conduct such sessions regularly.
3. Ad-Mad show was conducted in the month of November 2014 by the Department of Management Studies to groom the management students to deal efficiently with the given situations in the business environment. This helps them to realize the actual market situations. The hidden objective behind this activity was to make students expose themselves to stage and hence addressing issue of stage fear. Additionally the activity also help the students grooming their analytical skills.
4. A ‘Business Quiz’ was also organized in the month of November 2014 by the Department of Management Studies to train and acquaint the students of management and commerce with the different business terminology being used in business operations.
5. A special ‘Resume Development Program’ is going on in various departments so that the students can present the best picture of themselves to the job market through curriculum vitae.
6. Mock interviews are also being conducted time to time to train the students for facing the various interview boards for their final placements.
7. The students of MBA were taken to industrial visit to Hero Moto Corps, Dharuhera and Medica Men Bio Medical Company, Bhiwadi to acquaint and expose them to the real corporate functioning in various areas of the business so that it will be helpful for them when they really go and join the corporate world.
8. The students of MBA participated and won first prize in the national level Case Folio competition at GIBS (Gitaratan Institute of Business Studies) Delhi where participants from nearly 14 Universities and Institutes participated.
9. An educational trip to Suraj Kund Mela at Faridabad was organized on 7-8 Feb 2015 for the better understanding and knowledge about the multiculturalism of the nation and art, culture and heritage of the various states of India.
10. The cell has taken initiative to identify and engage various governmental and non-governmental organization for the training and placement of the students of the various disciplines. In this context a MoU has already been signed with Center for Social Research, New Delhi.
11. The cell also conducted classes of GD (group discussion) and PD (post dinner) talks on the issues of contemporary nature in the hostel premise so that the students will get chance to express themselves in an open environment enabling them to improve their communication skills.
