My Friends, I pray that you will have a re-
warding Lenten Season. At this
time when we sacrifice and focus
our attention on helping others
and deepening our prayer life,
the Lord can have a profound
effect in our lives.
We have many activities to assist you in your Lenten
journey. Among them are additional weekday Mass-
es, Adoration, Confession and Stations of the Cross.
I am grateful that you chose to worship with us to-
day and pray that as we journey through this Lent
together we will be better prepared to give praise to
our Risen Lord this Easter. —Father Shawn

The Weeping Tree A Lenten Service For Holy Week
Monday, April 15 @ 7:00pm
St. Andrew Church
For the past several years, on the
Monday of Holy Week, we have
offered a beautiful prayer experi-
ence. The Weeping Tree was writ-
ten by Joseph M. Martin and uses
“beloved hymns, newly composed
music, thoughtful narration, and
simple sacred symbols to create a
touching portrait of the cross.” It
is a truly powerful way to enrich your Lenten expe-
rience. This unique prayer service is approximately
45 minutes and features a “weeping tree” cross
that was hand-carved by one of our own parishion-
ers. Come, and see the Weeping Tree.

Bible Study A Prayer of the Heart
Led by Father Hal
Monday, April 8 @ 7:00pm
St. Andrew Parish Hall
All are invited to join Father Hal in taking a look at
the place of “the heart” in the Sacred Scriptures.
Stations of the Cross
Led by Deacon Marcos Enrique
Fridays during Lent
6:30pm at St. Mary
This Lent, all are invited to accompany our Lord in his Passion by praying through the Stations of the Cross.
As a form of meditation, this Lent we will accompany Jesus by reciting verses from the psalms which Jesus
himself would have prayed during his life, and which could very well have been in his heart and on his lips
during his Passion. In addition, each week Deacon Marcos will be preaching a brief reflection on the differ-
ent characters that appear during the Stations such as Mary, Pontius Pilate, Veronica, etc. Join us on this
weekly Friday devotion through April 12 at 6:30pm in St. Mary Church. Make this a special Lent
as we prepare to receive the Resurrection of the Lord at Easter.
Donations Needed! The BCRE Communion Closet Program encourages
people to donate First Holy Communion dresses
and suits no longer in use so that they may be re-
used by families in need. The outfits are borrowed,
worn, dry cleaned and then returned to the Com-
munion Closet to be used once again. Accessories
such as shoes and veils are also accepted. Please
help to make the First Holy Communion of a child
even more special by donating a new or gently used
First Holy Communion dress or suit. For any ques-
tions, please reach out to Carol at 978-667-3733.
Donated items can be dropped off at the Religious Education Office on Monday - Thursday from 9:30-4:00pm.
St. Mary Women’s Club Scholarship Scholarship applications are available at the entrances to the Church and the Rectory porch. Any member of

Reflections on the Miraculous Crucifix of Limpias
Palm Sunday (April 14) from 3-4:30pm
Saint Andrew Church “Come and clean your soul and surrender it to the mercy of our crucified
Lord, as he suffered and poured out His precious blood for our sins!”
During this Holy season of Lent, come spend some time in prayer
contemplating the passion of Our Lord and listen to the extraordi-
nary manifestations of Christ’s agony moments before his death.
This was witnessed by thousands of people in the little village of
Limpias, Spain from 1914 to 1920.
Kevin Roy, proprietor, will highlight and share some of the compelling testimonies of some very prominent
and reliable witnesses with an exact replica of the original Miraculous Crucifix of Limpias. There will also be a
first class relic of the True Cross of Christ for solemn veneration accompanied by sacred hymns and prayers to prepare us for Holy Week and the Sacred Triduum. The Sacrament of Confession will also be available
during this time.

Growing up on the edge of poverty, Hector wrestled with homelessness, and was struggling to find food. While playing basketball in a local Church league, he met Fr. Paul O’Brien, who encouraged him to go to college.
Fr. Paul was there for Hector at every step of his journey to college and beyond. With his help and guidance, Hector went on to play basketball for Regis College, graduate, and now works as a school counselor to give back to students the same hope and inspiration he received. Like Fr. Paul, our senior priests in good standing have been helping others for decades.
As we celebrate this Easter with our families and friends, please remember the Boston priests who have helped us along our life journey and consider making a gift of thanks to the special Easter collection for their health and retirement needs.
Funds from this special collection are managed by the Clergy Health and Retirement Trust – an independently managed trust with a majority lay board of trustees. The funds are used for the sole benefit of active and senior priests in good standing.
