units,whichincorporatelowwatertemperatureranges.Thiscanbeachieved,forinstance,by
utilisingthewasteheatofacoolingunitorheatpump.TheComfortCircleiscompatibleforuse
withthiskindofsystem.Itisalsopossibletodeployacoolingunitforheating;theso-called
changeoversystem.Foroptimumcoordinationbetweenthecassetteunitandtheheatandcold
sources,anoptionalchangeoversensorcanbefitted.

Fourcontroloptions1. Basicunitwithoutcontroller(B0)
Thecassetteunitisequippedwithatransformerandiswiredbydefaultatonefixedsetting.
2. Fanspeedcontroller(T0)Thecassetteunitisfittedwithafanspeedcontrollerthatiscompatiblewithexternalcontrolsystems,suchasabuilding
managementsystem.Thefanspeedisthencontrolledexternally(0-10Voltsorzero-voltage)
3. Thermostaticair-sideBiddlecontrol(S0/S1)Thisplug&playcontrolregulatesthefanspeed(threespeeds)toobtainthedesiredroomtemperature.Thecontrolcanbe
deliveredwithafixed(S0)oranauto-adjustabledischargeangle(S1).
4.Modulatingairandwater-sideBiddlecontrol(M0/M1)Themostcomprehensiveplug&playcontrolforthecassetteunitregulatesboththefanspeedandthedischargeair
temperature,toachievepreciselythedesiredtemperature.Thiscontrolcanbedeliveredwithafixed(M0)oranauto-adjustable
dischargeangle(M1).

Welldesignedanduser-friendlyBothBiddlecontrols(thermostaticandmodulating)arecontrolledbyawelldesignedanduser-friendlycontrolpanel.
Thecontrolpanelhasvarioussoft-touchkeysandahandyLCDdisplay.Thedesiredroom
temperatureiseasilysetviathecontrolpanel,afterwhichtimethecontrolmaintainstheclimate
atthecorrectlevel.Thekeyscanbelockedwitha'keylock'.
Onecontrolpanelcanbeconnectedtoandoperateamaximumoftenunits.Theunitsarethen
linkedtogether.Themaximumlengthofthecontrolcablesinacontrolsystemis100metres.
Thecontrolpanelhasvariousmenusforseveralsettings,suchasuse,installation,serviceand
settingtheweektimer.
AutomaticormanualoperationThecontrolpanelallowstheusertochoosebetweenautomaticormanualoperationofthecassetteunit.Intheautomatic
mode,thecorrectfanspeedissetonthebasisofthetemperaturedifferencebetweentheactualroomtemperatureandthe
desiredroomtemperature.
AutomaticonandoffcontrolThecontrolpanelfeaturesaweektimerforswitchingtheunitonandoffautomatically,eachdayoftheweek.
MaximumconvenienceIfyouchooseoneofthetwointegratedBiddlecontrols,theunitswillbedeliveredcompletelyreadytouse:plug&play.For
connectiontothemains,theunitsareequippedwithafixedcableandamouldedplug.Thecontrolpanel,anyextraunitsandin
andoutputscanbeconnectedviatheconnectorplateandconnections.

CircularairdischargetechnologyThebottomofthecassetteunitconsistsofapanelwithacircularairdischargegrille.Withrecirculationunits,theairintakeand
dischargetakeplaceviathesamegrillepanel.Theairisdrawninthroughtheperforatedpatterninthemiddleofthepanel.After
theairhasbeenheatedorcooled,itisblownevenlyintotheroomacross360°viatheairdischargeopeningsonthesideofthe
grille.Thecircularairdischargepatterngeneratesanoptimalandevenairdistribution,whichensuresoptimalpenetrationandair
circulationevenatlowairspeeds.
Warmairisdischargedatafixed45°angletowardsthefloor,toachievegooddownwardpenetrationoftheairintotheroom
(fig.1).Whencooling,coldairisdischargedhorizontallyalongtheceilingtocreateanoptimaldraughtfreeclimate.ThisCoanda
effect(fig.2)givesabetterdistributionofthecooledairthroughouttheroom.
