Lincolns originally used a portal and were looking for alternatives that could improve the client experience. The ultimate requirement was that it would work well for clients and work internally, as it would be more likely to be adapted without resistance and ultimately save time on administration and follow ups.
One of the reasons why clients were resistant to their current system of a portal was the need of a username and password, which was just another barrier for clients as they already have so many passwords to juggle.

For Lincolns, COVID19 was an opportunity to encourage clients to make the shift to digital signing, as it offered efficiencies and flexibility for clients that was needed during lockdown and ongoing remote working.
