About CMAT
Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level admission test for admission in all Master Computer Science & Management programs approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education)
Generally, the exam is held twice a year in the months of Sept. and Feb. An additional CMAT exam was announced this year which will be held in the month of May.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduates in any discipline or final year students of graduate courses can apply for CMAT.
Recognized bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 Yrs duration with at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.
Exam Format
CMAT is a computer-based test (CBT). A candidate reads the questions on a
computer terminal and chooses an answer by clicking on the correct option.

How to Apply
Step I: Enter as New User
Step II: Self registration- Enter details to get an 8 digit password. Re-
login to the registration portal as an EXISTING USER with your e-mail id and this unique 8 digit password to complete self-registration.
Step III: Payment Process Either online or cash ONLINE: Select ONLINE
PAYMENT mode and then pay using Credit card / Debit card / Net Banking. On the completion of the payment, a confirmation email and SMS is sent to you. CASH: Select PAY BY CASH, print the already filled-in challan and deposit the cash in any designated bank branches of State Bank of India. Within 72 hours, a confirmation e-mail and SMS is sent to you stating that the payment data has been updated in the registration portal. After this, proceed with the remaining part of registration process, and enter details filled by the bank authorities on the challan.

Online from 3rd July, 2013 to 21st August, 2013 on website www.aicte-cmat.in
Digital Photo up to 60 kb & sign up to 30 kb Choice of 3 dates and 3 cities of India for
online examination in the order of preference.
Allotment will be based on first come first served. Actual allotment however will be subject to
availability of the slots in a particular city.

CMAT 2014-15 (First Test) for any test centre CMAT in India General/OBC
Rs.1200 + Bank charges as Applicable
SC/ST/PD Rs.600 + Bank charges as Applicable
Note: Fee once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstance

Cash Payment Through challan generated online and Cash
deposited in any branch of State Bank of India in India
Admission Process
The detailed merit list will be provided to the respective State Governments for allotting the students through central counseling or otherwise as per their notified admission procedure.
In case there is no central counseling Scores awarded will be used for admission in the AICTE approved Institutes/University Departments.
