Introduction
This calculation report pertains to the design of open foundation for KACST-Extended Car Parking,
which has two basements namely CP2, CP1 below the Gantry/Ground level. Geotechnical Data
corresponding to adjacent site (KACST Head Quarter Building-200), shows that the net allowable
bearing capacity is 800 kN/m2 (Refer Appendix-C). The column arrangement and all relevant data
for structural model has been taken from Architectural drawings.
Staad. Pro has been used for Modelling & Analysis and standard excel sheets has been used
for designing Isolated foundation. Refer Appendix‐A for Staad Input file.
