When you book Cafe Morso for your evening event, you’re not only securing an elegant room with harbour surrounds, a menu and drinks that are indulgent but not expensive, you’re also ensured exclusive use of our restaurant for the private enjoyment of your friends, family and colleagues.

CANAPé COCKTAIL PARTY

Our personalised event planning service will simplify the organisation of your event, and the biggest decision you will have to make is whether a sit down dinner or a cocktail party better suits your special occasion.

SIT DOWN DINNER

We offer a 3-4 course sit down dinner menu to groups of 20 to 55 guests. However, if your numbers exceed 50 then one of our substantial canapé menus will act as an equivalent 3 course meal – only standing!

Once we have taken a brief from you we will customise a personalised event plan including a quotation to your specification, and hold your preferred date while you consider our proposed plan.

STYLING YOUR EVENT

If you have some general preferences such as menu and drinks, music, event theme and room decoration, or order of service, describe these for us briefly. You’re welcome to meet with us on site at Cafe Morso to discuss these options, or alternatively a brief can be taken over the phone if preferred.

We have suggested menus and drink packages to suit most events if you would like us to draft options for you. Alternatively we can tailor a package to your direct specification.

BUDGET PLANNING

From your brief we provide you with a written quotation for your consideration along with our Events Pack/Event Plan.

This will be emailed or posted to you and includes our booking confirmation/terms that can be returned to secure your date and event quote, plus a fact sheet of ‘Other things you should know’ to help fine-tune your event and ensure a ‘stress-free’ night.

CONfIRMATION

Once you are ready to book your event at Cafe Morso please return the completed confirmation form with deposit details. We will confirm the receipt of your deposit and lock the date in for you.

REfINING YOUR EVENT

Nearer to the date, some aspects of the menu and drinks package, and other planning details like order of service, room set up and entertainment may need refinement.

We can meet again or speak on the phone to develop these plans and further direction, ensuring the correct attention to detail is achieved on the night.
