Lower your heating and cooling costs by raising your ceiling insulation to energy-efficiency standards.

For long-term, low-maintenance energy savings, it’s hard to beat a ceiling insulation

upgrade. Over time, updated insulation will save your business money and will ensure

you’re using air conditioning and heating as efficiently as possible.

Industry standards identify your insulation’s R-value as a way to measure the heat

resistance of your insulation. If you have less than an R-12 ceiling insulation, you

could be a good candidate for a Progress Energy Florida, Inc. (PEF) insulation upgrade.

Incentives for PEF ceiling insulation upgrade: • When raising your insulation to a minimum of R-19, PEF pays $75, plus

5 cents per sq. ft. above 1,500 sq. ft.

• PEF will pay $100, plus 7 cents per sq. ft above 1,500 sq. ft. to raise your

insulation to a minimum of R-30.

Don’t let your money go to waste with outdated or inefficient insulation. A ceiling

insulation check should be your first step to lowering your monthly energy bill, so

call us for a Business Energy Check today.

Incentive and savings example:A 2,500 SF office could earn $75 + $50 above 1,500 SF and save over $150 per year. HVAC is SEER 9 at 76˚ F.
