Pear Birdie Ingredients
Pear
Raisins
Peanut butter*
Apple slices
Almond
slivers
Toothpicks
Instructions
Using peanut butter, attach raisins to
the pear for eyes. Use toothpicks to
attach apple slices as wings. Push
almond slivers into pear to make a
beak.
*Be aware of allergies present at your school

‘Carrots’
Ingredients
Strawberries
Plain or vanilla yogurt
Orange food colouring
Wax paper
Instructions
Place a sheet of wax paper on a plate.
Mix a few drops of orange food colouring
into the yogurt. Dip the strawberries in
yogurt, place on wax paper and place in freezer for about 20 minutes or until they set.
Re-dip them in yogurt to get a thick coat and freeze for another 20 minutes or until you
are ready to eat them. You can leave them in longer and serve as a frozen treat!

Egg-cellent Yogurt Snacks Ingredients
Orange
Yogurt, white in color (vanilla or plain)
Cantaloupe, mango, orange or banana
Instructions
Slice orange in half and hollow out. Carve zigzag edges
or leave straight edges to avoid spilling. Fill half way
with yogurt. Drop a piece of cantaloupe, mango, orange
or banana in the center to create the ‘yolk’.

Carrot Patches
Ingredients
Hummus
Baby carrots
Fresh parsley
Cups
Mini pots (optional)
Instructions
For each patch, spoon about 3 tablespoons of
hummus into small cups. Place the cups inside the
pots if using. Using a toothpick, poke a hole in the
top of each baby carrot. Push a sprig of parsley
into each hole. Place carrots in the hummus, as
seen in the picture.
Patches can be served as individual portions or one larger group portion, depending on which size cup or
pot you would like to use.

Baby Chicks Ingredients
6 Hard-boiled eggs, shelled
3 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tsp honey mustard
Raisins, dried plums, or olives

Instructions
Cut the top quarter of the eggs off. Carefully remove the yolks
and place in a bowl. Mash the egg yolks. Combine with
mayonnaise and honey mustard.
Place the egg yolk mixture in a plastic sandwich bag. Seal the bag and snip off one bottom
corner. Squeeze an equal amount of the mixture into the larger of each egg white. Add the eyes
using bits of raisins, dried plum or olives and beak with a sliver of carrot and top with the
remaining egg white “hat.”

Ingredients
Rice cake
Cream cheese
Apples
Strawberries

Raisins
Peach
Instructions
Spread cream cheese on rice cake for face. Cut grapes in
half and add raisins on top to form eyes. Cut apple into
slices as shown for ears and whiskers. Cut strawberry into
small triangles for nose and bowtie. Cut peach into
triangles to make bowtie.

Easter Pops
Ingredients
Vanilla yogurt
Strawberry yogurt
Raisins
Red apple
Strawberry
Almond slivers
Popsicle sticks
Bunny cookie cutter or bunny
outline drawn on wax paper
Instructions
Line pan with wax paper. Draw around the bunny
cut out or cookie cutter. Flip the paper over. Put the
yogurt in a baggie and snip off the edge. Pipe the vanilla yogurt inside the bunny
shapes and strawberry yogurt inside the ears. Attach slivers of red apple for the
whiskers, raisins for the eyes, strawberry for the nose, and almond slivers for the teeth.
Place popsicle sticks in the bottom and smooth the yogurt on top using a knife. Place
them in the freezer for about 20 minutes or until ready to serve.

Easter Egg Cartons
Ingredients
Empty egg carton
Plastic eggs
Miniature carrots
Miniature crackers
Cheese
Raisins
Grapes
Grape tomatoes
Instructions
Fill each plastic egg with a different snack food. Cut
ingredients into pieces if needed. Be creative - use
any healthy snack foods.
Turn it into an Easter egg hunt by hiding the eggs and enjoying the snack once all eggs
are found!

Carrot Vegetable Tray

Arrange carrots and broccoli into a large carrot outline.

Vegetable Easter Egg
Ingredients
Green pepper
Yellow pepper
Orange pepper
Carrot
Purple cauliflower
Instructions
Cut peppers into strips and purple cauliflower into bite
size pieces. Assemble as shown. Serve with dip.
This could also be a pizza, if arranged on a pita baked
at 3500 until golden brown, coated with cream cheese
and decorated.

Easter Bunny Fruit Bowl
Ingredients
Honeydew melon
Raisins
Carrot
Grape
Melon balls
Toothpicks
Instructions
Cut the shape of bunny ears into the front of the melon.
Remove the sides. Scoop out the inside. Use toothpicks to attach raisins, carrots, and
grape making the bunny face. Fill the basket with fruit of your choice!

Easter Bunny Vegetable Tray
Ingredients
French bread
Small round bread
Medium round bread
Raisins
Green Onion
Raw vegetables
of choice
Vegetable dip
Instructions
Cut a loaf of French bread in half to make ears.
Attach raisins and slivers of green onion to the small round bread to make the face.
Carve a large circle out of medium round bread and fill with vegetable dip to make body.
Place on tray and surround by vegetables.
