2 PresstheWPSbuttononyourrouter.3 PresstheWPSbuttonontheextender(for1second)within2minutes.4 WaituntiltheWPSlightstopsflashingandoneoftherangelightsissolid.Theextender

isnowconfiguredwithyourhub/router,andyou’rereadytofinditsoptimumlocation,see 2 below.

Option B - Connect using the ethernet cable- Inserttheethernetcableintotheextenderandtheotherendinto

yourcomputer.

3 Openyourinternetbrowserandenterhttp://192.168.1.1intheaddressfield.

- Enteryourextender’sAdmin password(printedonthebackofthisguide),thenclickLogin.

- ClickStartatthebottomthenfollowtheon-screenconnectionwizard.

4 WhenyouclickFinishyourbrowserwillloseconnectiontotheextender(ignorebrowsererrors).Theextender’srangeindicatorlightwillstopflashingonsuccessfulconnection.Theextenderisnowconfiguredwithyourhub/router,andyou’rereadytofinditsoptimumlocation,see 2 below.

whileitsearchesandconnectstoyourrouter.Afterabout30seconds,theflashingwillstopandthesignalqualitywillbeshown.IdeallytheGood rangelightwillbecomesolidblueandyoucangotopoint5.

Iftherangelightscontinuetoscrollbackandforthformorethan1minute.Checkyourhub/routerisswitchedonandtrymovingyourextenderclosertoit.

3 Checkthelightsandifnecessarymovetheextendercloserorfurtherawayfromyourhub/routerdependingonthelightstatusbelow.Thencheckthelightstatusagain.Arangelightwillbesteadyblueorred.

Theextendergivesyoutwonewwirelessnetworks,oneonthe2.4GHzbandandoneonthe5GHzband.

The5GHzband(EXT5)willgivethebestperformancewhenclosetotheextender,the2.4GHzband(EXT2)isbestforrange.
