– From Buddhism period to the coming of Islam
– From Islamic era to Changiz Khan occupation
– From Changiz Khan occupation to Russian occupation
– From Russian occupation to 2001( Buddha Destruction)
– Knowing Bamyan through local fictions
ProblemsProblems Lack of professional and sufficient personnel in the
relevant gov. departments and communities. Lack of knowledge about the values of Cultural and
Natural Heritage Lack of ownership feeling for the WH among the
communities Existence of well organized smugglers Poverty and expectation of gaining huge profit
through trafficking the historical monuments
