Bogoccer interviewed the physical education teacher from the Abraham Lincoln School, his specialty is football, and today we are going to ask him about some specific things of the Bogota’s football:
Interviewer: What do you think about the three principal teams from Bogota?
Our guest: We have the two classic teams Millonarios FC and Santa Fe then we have Equidad that is a “new team”.
Interviewer: What do you think about the fans form these teams?
Our guest: Well as Equidad is a recent team it doesn’t have a lot of fans, for example in Buenos Aires there are a lot of teams and the big ones are Boca Juniors and River Plate but there are other teams that are called neighborhood teams an this are small teams, also Equidad doesn’t have titles and this inflicts in the amount of fans. Milloanrios and Santa Fe have a lot of fans because they have titles and also they have a lot of history.
Interviewer: Is there a particular way in which this teams play?
Our guest: No, because they bring managers that have different ways to think and to play, maybe one manager likes to pass the ball a lot and an other likes to play long, this affects on
how the team is going to play. Neither team has a particular way of playing. Maybe Equidad has a small way to play because since they are a small team they fight their matches more and they know what they have to do in the field.
Interviewer: What do you think about Colombian soccer players?
Our guest:Most of the Colombian soccer players that show a good level are bought by International teams for example some are taken to the Argentina, others to Europe or Mexico. But a almost none of the good players stay in Colombia so Colombia’s footballers level is not that good in the line-ups, but we could say that Santa Fe has a line-up with a good level.
Interviewer: Is there another “type” of soccer similar to the one seen in Colombia?
Our guest:No there isn’t all the “types” of soccer are different in the way of playing, the level almost everything varies depending on the country it is played on.
