Triund
Situated in the lap of the Dhauladhar mountains, triund is the crown jewel of Dharamshala. It offers
a breath-taking view of the Dhauladhar on one side and Kangra valley on the other side. The trail
goes through a beautiful mixed forest of oak, deodar and rhododendron. To reach Triund one has to
trek. It is 7km from Dharamkot.

Malana Pulga- Kheerganga
Kheerganga is a spiritual site where Lord Shiva is believed to have meditated for 3,000 years. It offers
panoramic views of the snow clad mountains. There is a little pool on the highest point with warm

bridges on the way. It is one of the most popular camping destinations in Himachal.

How to reach- Delhi-Kullu-Bhuntar-Barsheni. From Barsheni it is a 12 km trek.

Chandertal
Situated in the Lahaul-Spiti district, the lake got its name due to its crescent shape Chandra Tal
meaning Lake of the moon. Mountains of scree overlook the lake on one side, and a magnificent
cirque presents a view on the other.
How to reach- Reach Manali. From there take the bus to Kaza and get down at Batal (Stay at Batal
for the night if you want to acclimatize better). From Batal, Chandertal is a 14km trek or one can
hitch hike.

It is considered as one of the best destinations for Paragliding in the world. The picturesque valley
