MCC the 300 Club???
To continue the growth and improvements experienced in recent years to your Club, membership numbers must continue to
increase. Macomb Country Club membership numbers for all categories are currently 293. This is tied for the second highest October totals in over 8 years of detailed tracking. The MCC Board of Directors and Membership Committee are working
intently to generate additional interest from the local community. Now is the time to start looking for recruits as your Board prepares
to introduce membership programs for 2015. Look around at your friends and associates for potential Golf, Pool, or Social members.
Our membership can help us make the 300 mark that was only hit briefly in 2009.
Golf numbers have dropped recently to 155 memberships for a variety of reason. Members moving from the area are an annual
event. We must always focus on encouraging new prospects to join us while working hard to retain the members we have. If we
can hit 175 golfing memberships, Gary Sutton’s Pro Shop will donate $300 in Prizes for the Golf event while hosting a
special “Day @ Your Club” event. This celebration will include Pool and Clubhouse activities if we can build this support for the
future of Your Club. Make it your goal to help Your Club reach 300 total members, and 175 golfing memberships. The more friends
we have at Your Club the more fun and activities we can experience.
The seasons have changed and so have the Restaurant Hours

New Member Incentives
The Board of Directors and Membership Committee will decide how they want to entice new members to join us for 2015.
As we prepare to contact the prospects you have given us leads to, consider giving the Club a head start. If you are going out to dinner with a prospective member in December, what better than to have them join you at the Club.
The Club is at its warmest atmosphere during the holidays with all the decorations thanks to the efforts of the House Committee, and a nice warm fire. If you would like help with any leads you can provide, please contact Gary Sutton at the Pro Shop or by email. He would be happy to follow up with any contact information provided.
Returning to the Country Club – Local favorites THE BLENDERS are putting the fun and
harmony back into music, one song at a time.
The quartet—consisting of Bill Maakestad, Susan Romano, Jean Davenport and Brian Dav-
enport—will be performing from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 4th
Another Work Day and more THANK YOUs!
On Monday, November 17th members showed up again to help clean up 9 more dead trees. The chain saws , tractors and vehicles for hauling were making a lot of noise as they built another burn pile. Thank you to: Paul Reuschel, Greg Reuschel, Sam Moran, Dave Miller, Rick Crossett, Dwaine Roche, Jack Baily, and Bill Lewis. Thank you to Jack McPherson for organizing the watering crews for the 35-40 new trees we are trying to get transplanted onto the course. As of this writing, we have 26 trees added to the golf course, with hopefully more to come prior to Thanksgiving. So far, Jack McPherson, Jim Keeney, Jack and Barb Baily, and Keith and Linda Engel watered the trees we have. The grounds crew is doing the initial watering as they seal the dirt ball with sand upon putting in the ground. Watering beyond the initial watering has been suspended until needed in the spring. If you would like to be con-tacted next year to take a turn or two on watering the trees, please contact Gary Sut-ton or Jack McPherson; and we will be happy to add you into the rotation.
