3.Candidates having completed Foundation Course on Computer Awareness & Office
Automation for duration of minimum 3 months from a Computer Institute, is desirable. The
requirement of having completed the said Course will be waived in case of those candidateshaving Computer subject as part of the curriculum at the Pre- Degree / Degree level.
4.Knowledge of Regional Language of a particular State / Union Territory for which
candidate apply, is essential.

Eligibility:
1.Pass with minimum 50%marks in aggregate in Higher Secondary Examination / 10+2 of10+2+3 pattern or its equivalent from a recognized university / Board / Central / State / UTAdministration.
OR
Degree in any discipline or its equivalent from a recognized University / Board / Central /State / UT Administration.
2.Computer knowledge is essential.
Selection Process:Final selection will be made on the basis of performance in the writtentest and interview taken together.
Paper Pattern:The written test will consist of an objective test as well as a Descriptive
Test.
OBJECTIVE TEST:
Name of the Paper Marks
Test of Reasoning Ability 50 questions carrying 80 marks
Numerical Aptitude 50 questions carrying 80 marks
Test of Clerical Aptitude 50 questions carrying 50 marks
Test of English Language 50 questions carrying 50 marks
Four Papers 200 Questions Carrying 260 marks
260 marks for a duration of 1 hour and 35 minutes.
The questions in these objective tests, except for the test of General English, will be printed
in bilingual i.e., English & Hindi
Candidates will have to pass in each of the objective tests.
DESCRIPTIVE TEST:
Assessment of Details of the Test Qualifying Marks
Higher order cognitive
abilities,wealth of ideas in a
logical coherent manner and
communication skills.
5 compulsory questions with
internal options for 100marks.
Duration: 1 hour Option to
answer either in Hindi orEnglish or the officiallanguage of the state.
Minimum 40%(35% for SC/ST
candidates) but marks so
obtained are not reckoned for
merit ranking.
Interview:
Interview shall be conducted to assess the personality traits having bearing on generaldemeanor,interpersonal competence,adaptability,courtesy,self confidence,temperament and
communication skills.
