What is Arizona Gives Day?
– Collaboration between Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits and Arizona Grantmakers Forum
– 24 hours– Completely Online– Goals:
• Raise public awareness• Increase nonprofit capacity• Increase individual giving

Why Arizona Gives Day

• National trend of online giving days– Minnesota – launched in 2009 - $70 million to date

2013 Campaign Results
•8,584 Donors and $928,541•Nonprofits:
– 647 received donations (80% of the 807 registered)– Median of $395; 25% raised $1,000 or more that day– Continued raising money after Arizona Gives Day– 75% of organizations that raised money said they
received donations they would not otherwise have received and 77% said they had attracted new donors
