OUR PROJECTNEW FACILITY DESIGNED TO LOAD GRAINS INSIDE CONTAINERS
The facility consists of a complete container loading solution, including a container tilter, hoppers,
conveyor belts systems, elevator with dedusting equipment, digital scale, truck scale, etc. and has access
to berth (sea and river), road and railway.
Facility is served by truck/railway weigh scale and complex handling equipment such as heavy forklift,
reach stacker, heavy shore crane fitted with automatic container spreader and hydraulic grab,
transtainers, etc.
OUR PROJECTNEW FACILITY DESIGNED TO LOAD GRAINS INSIDE CONTAINERS
Targeted cargo flows:
Romanian origin exports;
Central European origin exports via Danube;
CIS origin exports via sea-river ships.
We are able to perform the following services:
Containerization of bulk cargoes from truck/ ship/ barge/ railway wagons to container;
De-containerization of bulk cargoes and delivery to trucks/ ship/ barge/ railwaywagons.
OUR PROJECTNEW FACILITY DESIGNED TO LOAD GRAINS INSIDE CONTAINERS
The mentioned services include:
reception/scaling on delivery to port;
all container movements at loading port (empty and full – Lo/Lo);
bulkhead and lining preparation and installation inside the container, including fumigation of
bulkhead material;
cargo stuffing inside the container;
scaling and sealing;
fumigation;
export formalities and documentation;
loading from container terminal to FOB Constanta (THC);
sea freight from Constanta to final destination.
OUR PROJECT
After analyzing the best possible locations and having as an aim the
reduction of costs per metric ton handled and transported, it resulted that
placing the facility closer to the container terminal the logistics costs were
lower. Consequently, we placed the facility inside the container terminal,
this guaranteeing the most cost effective solution in terms of container
movement and costs resulting from this movement.
OUR PROJECT
OUR PROJECT
OUR PROJECTNEW FACILITY DESIGNED TO LOAD GRAINS INSIDE CONTAINERS
Compared to actual logistics arrangement existing in Constanta port , we expect to have a saving of
minimum 10-15 US$ per metric ton on handling costs from CPT Constanta to FOB Constanta, subject
to the stowage factor of the cargo which is resulting from:
reducing the trucking and handling costs of the container as the containerization will be
performed inside the container terminal
reducing number of cargo handling and cargo handling costs as cargo will not have to pass the
port silo and can be delivered direct by truck/railway/barge to the stuffing location
the stuffing method allows full utilization of container volume
the stuffing method is clean, modern and safe, unlike current containerization methods available in
Constanta, with minimum losses.
