An arborist, or (less commonly) arboriculturist, is a
professional in the practice of arboriculture, which is the
cultivation, management, and study of individual trees, shrubs,
vines, and other perennial woody plants. Arborists generally focus
on the health and safety of individual plants and trees, rather
than managing forests (the domains of Forestry and Silviculture) or
harvesting wood. An arborist's scope of work is therefore distinct
from that of either a forester or a logger, though the professions
share much in common.professional arboriculturecultivationtrees

Arborists gain qualifications to practice arboriculture in a
variety of ways and some arborists are more qualified than others.
Experience working safely and effectively in and around trees is
essential. Arborists tend to specialize in one or more disciplines
of arboriculture, such as diagnosis and treatment, climbing and
pruning, cabling and lightning protection, or perhaps consultation
and report writing. All these disciplines are related and some
arborists are very well experienced in all areas of tree work, but
not all arborists have the training or experience to properly
practice every discipline. Many arborists choose to pursue formal
certification, which is available in some countries and varies
somewhat by location. An arborist who holds certification in one or
more disciplines may be expected to participate in rigorous
continuing education requirements to ensure continuous improvement
of skills and techniques.

The income varies depending on who you work for and also
whether you own a private business. The arboriculture profession
has diverse employment opportunities. Where one starts depends upon
attitude, education, and experience. The same opportunity for
advancement is available for everyone. With a career in
arboriculture, advancement opportunities and potential financial
rewards are wide open. Online courses are available for students as
well as career centers with great instructors to help you along
your way.

Tree service technicians can always get more training, and
become more educated in different aspects of tree care and health.
They can become supervisors of other technicians, or open their own
tree service companies. They may open tree nurseries, gardening
shops, or publish articles and write books about tree and woody
plant care. They can also go to school and train to work as
landscape architects or landscape architectural technicians.

Logging is the cutting, skidding, on-site processing, and
loading of trees or logs onto trucks [1] or skeleton
cars.skiddingtreeslogstrucks [1] skeleton cars In forestry, the
term logging is sometimes used in a narrow sense concerning the
logistics of moving wood from the stump to somewhere outside the
forest, usually a sawmill or a lumber yard. However, in common
usage, the term may be used to indicate a range of forestry or
silviculture activities.forestrysawmilllumber yard There are many
different kinds of education that can be required in order to
maximize your chances of advancement in the logging industry.
Different levels of chainsaw certifications can be obtained. There
are also many different schools for logging. There are a lot of
chances for advancement in logging as long as you are willing to
keep learning and getting different certifications for different
jobs within the logging industry. The average annual salary for a
lumberjack is $35,000 a year. If a student is interested in logging
as a profession I highly recommend attending a career center with a
natural resources program. The skills you will learn there will be
invaluable to the success of your career. The job is physically
demanding but as you get older you will move into foreman
positions.

Youth ministry, also commonly referred to as youth group, is an
age-specific religious ministry. Faith groups or other religious
organizations carry out youth ministry to involve and engage with
young people who attend their places of worship, or who live in
their community. Christian youth ministry usually encompasses one
or more of the following:religious ministry Faithreligious

faith or not) to learn more about a given faith and to become more
involved in spiritual lifespiritual life providing open youth clubs

ministry will usually include some form of religious instruction
and pastoral oversight of young people.pastoral oversight Education
is not always required but Bible college courses are very useful as
well as getting experience with internships. Youth Pastors make an
average of $35,000 a year. The chances for advancement depend on
the church, but sometimes the youth pastor will eventually take
over the head pastor position. The long term job outlook also
varies on the church but I personally know many youth pastors that
will be doing that until they retire.

My goals are to finish high school, and then head to Bible
college, where I will study youth ministry. I then hope to get a
job as a youth pastor and do a lot of stuff with church camp.
