11. (a) (i) Discuss in brief different picture construction techniques.
(ii) Given a window A(20, 20) B(60, 20) C(60, 40) D(20, 40). Use Cohen
Sutherland line clipping algorithm to find the visible portion of the
line P(30, 50) Q(70, 30) inside the window.

(b) (i) Rasterize and find the coordinates of a dotted circle using mid point
circle drawing algorithm for radius 6 and centre point (5,5).
(ii) Discuss on two main classes of hardware devices used for user
interaction.
12. (a) (i) Give an algorithm to fit a 2D smooth curve through a number of
given points. Your algorithm should ensure that the fitted curve
actually passes through all the points.
(ii) Find out the single transformation matrix required to scale a unit
square by a factor of 2 along its diagonal.

(b) (i) Derive the window to viewport transformation function in general.
(ii) What are spline curves? How an they created and represented I
graphics?
13. (a) (i) A unit cube is projected onto the XY plane under parallel projection
whose direction of projection is (1, 1, 1). Obtain the projection of
cube with the coordinates.
(ii) Discuss on kinematics and inverse kinematics as used in animation.

(b) (i) Explain the process of eliminating hidden surfaces from three
dimensional objects using any algorithm.
(ii) Discuss on the different types of visualizations based on the data
types.
14. (a) Explain text encoding formats, text representation formats and typefaces
used in text in detail.
