Amin's  background:  Amin  is  a  passionate  National  Lifeguard  Instructor  and  Recert  Conductor  in  the  Greater  Vancouver  Area.  He  has  been  involved  in  aquatic  leadership  since  2002.  In  addition,  he  cultivated  an  interest  and  excelled  at  competitive  swimming  as  a  young  adult.  

With  a  Bachelor  of  Health  Sciences  from  Western  University,  Amin  has  a  thorough  understanding  of  the  principles  of  first  aid.  He  has  over  ten  years  of  lifeguarding  experience,  has  been  a  lifesaving  instructor  since  2009,  and  a  certified  first  aid  instructor  since  2011.  

As  a  current  student  at  UBC's  Sauder  Business  School,  Amin  is  developing  relevant  audit  and  accounting  skills  as  he  prepares  for  an  exciting  career  in  consulting  and  team  development.  

Before  moving  to  Vancouver,  Amin  lived  in  Montreal  and  worked  on  a  health  promotion  project  that  integrated  immigrants  into  Canadian  culture.  He  is  sensitive  to  different  learning  styles  and  cultural  diversity.  In  2013,  he  was  awarded  the  Paris  Chamber  of  Commerce's  advanced  diploma  in  business  French.  

Amin  is  excited  to  develop  working  relationships  with  recreational  and  aquatic  departments  throughout  BC,  and  relishes  the  thought  of  travelling  to  your  community  to  teach,  train  or  recertify  local  lifeguards!
