Alvin Chandra from Fiji studied governance issues in adaptation for climate change by small island developing states, using the Nadi River Basin (and its recent catastrophic flooding) in Fiji as a case of history. Alvin studied environmental science in Fiji, Australia and the USA and also studied the MESPOM course in Budapest. He worked with SOPAC in Fiji.
