    The massive fort built by emperor Abar in 6789 A.$., the fort stands on the bans of the

    :amuna near the confluence site. "n its prime, the fort was unrivalled for its design,

    construction and craftsmanship.

    This gigantic Ashoa pillar, of polished sandstone stands 6;.< meters high, dating bac to

    =9= #.+. The pillar has several edicts and a 2ersian inscription of *mperor >ahangir

    inscribed on it, commemorating his accession to the throne.

    celebrated at the -oly angam in Allahabad is the largest and holiest of them.
