Daily Catholic Wisdom
“Those who exercise a prophetic role should not be surprised if they meet with coldness or even opposi-tion. They may not be easy to live
with, because they may concentrate on comforting the afflicted, they
may unconsciously afflict the com-fortable. People who live mediocre lives or who prefer to remain com-fortable in their social nests may
think the prophets upset the status quo and accuse them of being dis-
turbers of the peace.”

Catholic Clergy Award presented to student at
St. Mary's College
This past week at the St. Mary's Col-lege Graduation Ceremony at the Es-
sar Centre, the Catholic priests of Sault Ste. Marie presented Tiana
Bressan as the first recipient of the Catholic Clergy Award. Tiana is a parishioner of St. Gregory's Parish
where she regularly attends Mass and volunteers in different ways in her community. She will be attending
the University of Guelph in Septem-ber. The Catholic Clergy Award rec-ognizes a student who makes it a pri-ority to practice their Catholic faith and volunteers in their parish com-
munity. The student received a bur-sary for $500.00.
Congratulations Tiana!
